Well, you didn't answer, and said anyone was welcome, so..... Mission #016 Complete! Objective: Either bring new escape pods to the Wackelkopf Base, or think of a way to repair the ones already there. I chose to bring new escape landers. However, no word was given on where these escape landers were expected to escape to and land. These can land on Kerbin. They can land on Duna - and have the delta-v to get there. They can land on Eve - I'm pretty sure they can get there too. And they can land on Laythe - they just might have the umph to make it there, too. Of course, you can land pretty much anything on Minmus. These have no landing gear, but the torque in the SAS should keep 'em standing. De-orbit it onto the surface of Minmus.

Thank you, Sturmstiger for posting such an awesome challenge. I know I did poorly, but I had a blast flying the missions and making the videos. Like DeathEngineering, I may do this challenge again. But next time, I'll actually plan the mission before I begin execution. Those launch windows come and go before you realize it.

A little bit ago, I was tempted to usurp the save file and post results, but I'm pretty buzzed now. It's actually a mission I would have liked to complete. And it seems that nevermoto is going to complete it precisely in a way that I wouldn't. I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. But, if nothing happens in the next sixteen hours or so, I'm grabbing it. TML

Bah! Of course! The Far East. Your language patterns match it perfectly. Why did I not see it? And, unless I'm mistaken, Malaysia is one of four predominantly Muslim countries to have had a female prime minister. Very progressive. I live in California in the United States. I could tell you that I live in Garden Grove, but I'm sure that would mean nothing to you. I live a fifteen minute drive from Disneyland. Twenty minutes from Knott's Berry Farm. Two hours from Magic Mountain. It is GMT -7 2255

I am drinking martinis and pondering where you're from. Please take no offense from the following statement. While your written English is well constructed, it is clearly not your native language. Usually, there are signatures I can identify: object verb transpositions, use of infinitives or subjunctives and what not. Yours match none of the patterns to which I am used. Eastern Europe is my best guess. So...where are you from?

I do not believe that manned missions or EVA is necessary. It just produces "better science". Various sensors or what not will still do the job, just not as good as a Kerbal going outside to collect samples. Likewise, I get the impression that it is not necessary to return samples to Kerbin, but doing so will produce "better science". The various communications equipments will allow for transmission of science back to KSC. It appears that Kerbals getting their hands dirty and returning samples to Kerbin will be much better - perhaps an order of magnitude better - but not necessary.

Most of this was not mentioned in the mission requirements. No mention of landing. I believe this is just going to be a pusher, never touching down on a planet or moon. Only one of each docking port is required. Two, I'm sure is just fine though. No mention of Kethane capabilities. Again, just a pusher to haul other stuff around. No mention of having to take it to the Mun or anywhere other than the Science Station orbiting Kerbin.

Mission #009 Complete! Mission Objective: Emergency Evacuation Shuttle Craft: Send a remote control (un-man) shuttle craft (LV-909 rocket SSTO airplane - under 6 tons when include engines+full fuel) that are able to carry 2 crews to dock with the Science station. Just in case the science station need evacuation. Remember to include parachute for landing back to Kerbin. Or fly back to KSC. Additional Note: Due to the experiment might contain bio-hazard, the EAS-1 External Command Seat are forbidden to use. The station core should include docking ports of all three sizes, a probe core, and power generation. If you want to add fuel storage, habitation, sciency stuff, great. But the challenge is just for the core.

MechJeb, actually. How can I ever trust him again? He is reporting 7.47 tons. ok...this is weird: MechJeb can't decide if it's 6.0 tons or 7.47 tons. :/ Smart looking space plane, none the less. Edit: I manually added up the weight of all components and come up with 7.47. I am not concerned with your compliance, you constructed the plane in good faith. The fact that the game is misreporting mass is troublesome, however. Or am I missing something?
