Congratulations. I believe the early post bonus assumes you post within two hours of claiming the file. Since your post was two hours and thirteen minutes after claiming the file, I am filing a formal protest. I'm not sure what Clean up the left-over means. Please elaborate. All that aside, Well Done! No worries. I'm sure I sounded far more frustrated than I actually was. In no gravity, I'm actually quite good at EVA. Add some gravity, and I have the same problem I have landing: I'm fumble fingered. I will say, however, I am not disappointed that the lander met an explosive demise on the surface of Kerbin. BTW, my original plan was to land Jeb at the Other Space Center - not the one on the island, the one a quarter planet away. Just turned out that my return set me up for the regular KSC. TML

Mission 004 complete! Jeb has been safely returned to Kerbin. Problem is, he's 25KM from the Kerbal Space Center. Someone bring him the rest of the way home. Points: 10 - Complete an objective 10 - Posting an objective 15 - Posting a couple pictures or a video of your mission 40 - Following all five rules Is that 75 points? Edit: Recalculating! I get double points to "Posting a couple of pictures or a video of your mission. So, 90pts. TML official shared folder, upload your finished archive

is up where in, I launch a couple more utilities and the Space Truck by Six arrives back at Kerbin after its long voyage from Duna.

[WEB] Parachute Calculator - Updated!
ThreeMartiniLaunch replied to check's topic in KSP1 Tools and Applications
Clearly my problem, not yours. I'm four martinis in, so I'll have to work on this tomorrow. BTW, ping resolves your URL to 31.170.161.216. Is this the correct address? Regards, TML -

I get FireFox's standard Connection Has Timed Out. Both from home and from work. Just tried IE. It fails, too. -

I love the calculator, but the link has been broken for me for the past few days. -
is up.Two launches and preparations for sending my first Kerbals to Duna.

Post commentary is better for both the host and the viewer...bravo. And no video for two weeks? What gives? Looking forward to more. PS: I hear (though have not confirmed) that if you turn on MechJeb's RCS balancing, the docking autopilot is much, much better. PPS: I've been playing that Kerbals in Kerbin's SOI do not need supply. I'm pretty sure that's not the official rule, though. So sue me. TML

is up.No new launches, but lots of activity in the Duna system - particularly around Ike.

I use FRAPS for video capture. The files are big, but high quality. There's really no magic. It couldn't be easier to use. Sony has a free video editor - Movie Studio 11. It's kinda complicated but there are lots of good video tutorials on the YouTubes. I went ahead and got the pay for version and so far, I'm wondering why.

reusable mun lander and rover
ThreeMartiniLaunch replied to Lar-E's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Found some other old timey Duna shots.... Keep in mind, in those days it was more about picking up space babes than doing science. And driving the Duna Buggy, you were sure to pick up the space babes. -
reusable mun lander and rover

Lots of negative camber. Plus, it's pretty low. It's one of my earliest designs. I went to Duna before I ever went to the Mun. I don't even think I have the .craft file for it anymore. My recent rovers are far more intelligently designed. -

Mounting Probes

Excellent suggestions. Thanks to everyone for replying. -
Oh. My. Goodness. I was finally able to fly this spaceplane. I suck at flying planes. I mean really suck. Your mom flies planes better than I do. On my first flight, I achieved orbit. I ejected for the Mun. I achieved Munar orbit at 25km. I chose not to land because I suck at landing. I ejected from the Mun. Let's just say that, eventually, I was able to "rendezvous" with the runway at KSC. This thing is AWESOME! Thanks again. TML (formerly misanthropia66)
