I was bored in KSP, so I decided to throw a truck into space, and land it on the moon. Sadly, I had to perform a refuelling mission because the darn thing didn't have enough fuel when I finally got it in orbit. It was also wobbly as hell upon the launch, as the CoM and the center of thrust were not inline.
Much like the planned manned mission to Venus by America, we could probably make things more efficient by turning an empty fuel tank into a crew compartment.
I like enormous rockets, but I also try to keep them (vaguely) in the realm of sanity, sometimes sacrificing one aspect of my rocket for sheer cool-factor.
So, how do I actually download the universal docking ports? They confuse me: Do I need to download the seperate plugin to dock a 1.25 m docking port to a 2.5 m universal docking port?
I made a set of geosynchronous satellites in KSP with Remote tech installed, but I am having a hard time making them connect to my probes in orbit automatically, any tips?
Maybe Engineers with high courage do better in space than engineers with lower courage, high courage scientists get slightly more science from research in space, etc.
I have never had a problem with the placement of the Clamp-O-Tron Sr. Docking Port. I think you guys just need to look a bit harder. Although, it could be made more distinctive to be easily determined of its orientation, however.
