  1. No, it's update .23.5, not a DLC anymore.
  2. Duna express trajectory: I'm worried that the aerobraking altitude will be below mountain tops at those speeds...
  3. I don't get what you mean, there is only one "ARM Megathread," it was stickied earlier today. Also, I hope the Magic Boulder was re-added, it was kinda like an asteroid, right?
  4. Finding an E size asteriod in .23.0 will be hard, but I think I can manage it.
  5. Welcome home Jeb, Bill, Bob, Kirk, Sean, and Steve! This marks the end of my first ever mission to Moho! This mission was accomplished with the biggest and most complicated ship I have ever thrown together. The highlight was Bill, Jeb, and Bob's landing on Moho. I have now landed on all the planets in KSP! Roving 10 Km on Moho's north pole turned out to be an insane adventure (it's really hilly, driving off a 200 m cliff is NOT funny), however Jeb Kerman was driving. Jeb was a daredevil as always. Throwing stuff into the pit was fun. Crash landings with probes was also fun. Getting back to Kerbin proved to be difficult... But I was able to get an encounter while doing 100% of the burns inside Moho's SOI, and with virtually no fuel left. And they got home safe and sound. A shuttle was launched to retrieve them. And later it landed... Best mission I've done in a long time.
  6. Stack Separators detach everything that is connected to them, so they don't stay stuck to spent boosters. It's useful in some situations, but not very often. Also, the 2.5 meter separator is way thinner then the decoupler, so it looks better.
  7. Rigid joints is in ARM, I believe .24 only has contracts now... That update really shrunk lol
  8. This update is awesome, I hope it will be out soon...TM...
  9. I started playing in .16, so 2012 for me.
  10. Huh, Harv's video description says that it will be realized at the end of the stream... Yep, this is .18. Hopefully that's actually true...
  11. This is .18 all over again!!! Seriously, this update is just full of surprises! Time-warping in the tracking station? Flags on ships? New SRBs? This update is awesome.
  12. Asparagus is too unrealistic, I'm already starting to not use it...
  13. Lol, it was revealed before the "reveal" stream!
  14. True, but there are some times to stream that can be a good time for more than just a few timezones. Like if the stream started at around 7-10 am (EDT), then if would be during the day for nearly everyone. Right? And I don't get why Squad themselves would stream at this time...
  15. I did not get to space today: And then later I couldn't even get to the launchpad:
  16. Yea! That would be a perfect use for the Science Lab.
  17. The original Deep Space Kraken was an actual game bug that caused your ship to rotate, and eventually be ripped apart as you reached higher speeds... All ships were basically uncontrollable in solar orbit (hence the "Deep Space" title). This was finally fixed in .17. Now it's mainly just a thing to blame all our failures on. Here's a video from Scott Manley: (Kraken attack is at the end)
  18. Mainsails aren't powerful enough, but maybe the new engine can do it?
  19. Can someone remember to make a transcript of the ARM reveal that will be streamed later today/tomorrow please. It's in the middle of the night or me (and Squad), and since Twich doesn't allow quality changes, I wont be able to rewatch the stream (bad internet, I will get 5 seconds a minute at such a high quality).
  20. Updated with new OMS! It now uses two 909 engines instead of RSC, giving the orbiter 5 times more thrust. This solves the problem of not being able to circularize before falling back in the atmosphere, so the cargo capacity has been raised to 10 tons. It also looks a lot better.
  21. Cant wait! Err, it's been so long that I can hardly remember what was going on.. Something about Duna?
