  1. You get the same dV from the same amount of fuel. You're just using it more effectively.
  2. Cloud lighting/coloring needs some love for border conditions: at the terminator and especially on poles.
  3. I play KSP with this music in the background.
  4. "Mom, I've just shot myself in the leg. Please cut off my hands so that I couldn't do it again."
  5. ...and horror. Except Jeb, of course.
  6. Gyroscopic inertial drives don't work. Russians have tested it. We were stupid enough to launch an actual satellite with this thing on board.
  7. Volumetric clouds are great! Say, if I want to melt my PC, how can I increase the distance at which clouds disappear?
  8. It seems I'll have to restart, as my heavily modded (Interstellar, DRE, FAR and 20+ more mods) setup has got new parts after update but locked the research facility (in career!) and hasn't got any asteroids. Still, great update!
  9. To clarify, I didn't mean that the person who proposed the idea is an idiot, only that the idea itself is stupid. You can't insult an idea or proposition.
  10. I don't think it's the time to add more of the same content we already have. Atmospheric model needs to be redone first. Even Jool doesn't seem to look/work properly right now (pressure damage, anyone?).
  11. New models look great! One practical nuance: it seems they're completely symmetrical and monotonous. I fail to see any markings for, say, rotatron's "zero angle" or piston's "outward" direction indication on screenshots, which is crucial in craft design. Old parts have these (maybe not exactly intuitive, but after a couple of attempts I could predict which "subpart" would stay put and which one would move in which direction), new ones need it as well.
  12. I like Z-1's color scheme. Make green stripes brighter (as in "acidic/neon green"), make them luminescent and you're set. But noooo, instead they introduce this [self-censored].
  13. I second that. Also, different sizes (which is easy to do through part duplication but would be nice to have in stock). The claw as a landing/anchoring system for tiny probe (who said "Philae"?) is a thing I will definitely use.

  15. I don't have a "store" account, so correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Squad store provide all KSP versions? Steam allows you to use only two last versions (current ad previous).
  16. You're either trying to troll, or have completely missed the point. I wasn't talking about previous wars. There is no need to change current "zero year". Such need may arise only if there will be some world-wide cataclysm, by its nature dividing the timeline into "before" and "after". WW3, for example. On the other hand, it may be the day of machine rebellion. Or the day when humans become immortal. Take your pick.
  17. If there will ever be any change, it will be "before The War" and "after The War". If there will be any "after", of course.
  18. Actually, three days are definitely possible (I did it), and four days are quite plausible. You'd need A LOT of coffee, you'd get sensor issues (vision gets screwed up badly, you may start seeing moving lights and flashes), your brain would almost stop working (short-term memory gets screwed up, you can't concentrate and keep forgetting what are you doing), and you'd better try to blink as rare as possible because every time you close your eyes you may not open them and you may get asleep even while standing straight, but I think four days are possible.
  19. HNIJKL for docking, rover controls remapped to IJKL, IVA light remapped to U. Docking mode is useless.
  20. Absolutely loving the magnetometer, laser spectrometer and the drill, although smaller models would be nice and the drill is kinda hard to set right. Would be nice if the drill could break if you're moving when it's deployed. Also, humble request: atmospheric science package for rovers: blocky, edgy, surface-attachable deployable thing in the smallest scale. The nosecone looks out of place on a rover.
  21. I should say this mod is a life saver for small probes and landers when you try to pack a lot of surface-attached equipment into tiny volume and can not afford to attach everything in symmetrical pairs.
