I really like my corsair C70 Its got room for 2 fans up front behind a nice dust filter and you can actually fit another 2 against the inside of the drive cages if you would want Its got room for a total of 10 fans

Update on my problem from earlier! I got it working, I went and took my computer over to a buddies house yesterday and used his monitor with a dvi cable and it worked on the first time! Then after updating all the drivers for it, I shut it down and tried the HDMI and we got it going! playing KSP right now :D Woot! Its a wierd fix I think, kinda like we had to trick into working lol

Ok status update on the problem. The cards LED is green when Ive tried booting with it installed, and the PCIe error LED is not on. The fans on the card spin up as well. Booted up without the Video card installed and my LCD tv in the HDMI slot on the Mobo, no picture at all. Plugged in the VGA monitor and it works fine with that, boots windows and everything. This was all without the video card. Also I tried installing the drivers but since I dont have the card in I keeps saying that it cant install the drivers because I dont have the hardware.

Speaking of the ASUS GeForce 760, I can get mine to work When the video card is installed I cant get anything on either of my two displays, one is an old VGA Compaq LCD from 2003 and the other is my Philips 32'' LCD tv that was trying with my HDMI cable. Nothing comes up them, and Ive tried them one at a time, changing HDMI ports between motherboard and video card. When the card is in, I watch the Q-code on the mobo go through its POST check, I get no bad LED's or codes, and the little green LED on the card is lit. Ive got everything else up and running, I got window installed and updated. Im going through driver updates now. So can someone please help me out with this? Is it Software?(Drivers?) Hardware(video card?) or is it the odd displays Im trying to use? Ive talked to ASUS support a few times and werent much help other than saying I might have to take the video card back to micro center. Thanks folks

The 760 Ive got has an 8-pin power connector So should I plug the 2-pin in with the 6-pin?

Ok question here Ive got my parts and am building as we speak. Ive got one problem, The Asus 760 video card Ive got has a 8 pin power plug and Im not sure which power cable to route to it. Ive got some PCI-E cables that came with my PSU but there are two 6-pin ends with a 2-pin smaller plug with each of the 6-pin ends. Do I just put the 6 pin in with its accompanied 2-pin plug? Id post picts but Im missing the cable to my camera. Thanks folks

Ok folks! Ill be buying my parts sometime on monday next week at Micro Center Just wanted any last minute opinions on the build to make sure Im not doing anything insanely stupid. I know Ill want 1600 clock speed and low latency. I want the cooler in case I decide to oveclock and to keep temps low in the summer to help the processor last longer. This will be my first build. Ive been watching NewEgg and some other videos on youtube on how to build it. Im very excited

Which OS is less resource intensive? Win 7 or 8? Also Im still having a hard time with the decision on the anti-virus software choice, Ive been reading some reviews and they havent been that helpful yet.

So Im going to build a new computer, and I need to know, what is the best anti-virus out there? Is the microsoft stuff that comes with a new version of windows good enough? Should I buy software?(McAfee, Norton) or is something free the way to go?(AVG, Avast?) Im looking for something I wont have to worry about messing with or interfering with Multiplayer video games. @ briansun1 My RAM is just a placeholder til I actually go get it and find something at microcenter I know nothing about Win 8.1 or Win 8 for that matter. Is it better? Is it still compatible with older programs and games? Example, Command & Conquer? Is the Anti Virus that comes with Windows ok then? I shouldnt have to get anything else? Ive heard of Avast but know nothing about it. I just dont want my baby when I build her go to crap right away for dumb and/or silly reasons like viruses, trojans, root-kits.

Just my two cents, I have no idea where the names actually came from. In star wars, the planet where the Hutts live is called Nal Hutta, Meaning "glorious jewel" maybe Jool came from that? Minmus might have come from on of Saturn's moons: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimas_%28moon%29 But who really knows Oh wait, Ill be Squad does!!! lol
