  3. Quick problem, when I use KAS to attach a new processor, the processor goes into the bay upsidown and then the processor won't work. Any idea how to fix this?
  4. You could always use the welder mod to make sections of the side panels into one part, significantly reducing the part count.

  6. Hey, I'm new to this mod and I'm wondering why it still charges you for a ship even when you revert back to the space center? Is it a coding limitation? I'm wondering because I reverted alot while working on a build and now I'm deeply in debt. I saw that you have to research vessel recovery, does it have anything to do with that. I would also suggest adding vessel recovery when landed at the space center to start with, and you have to research to recover farther. Lastly, I want to know if there is any way to give my save money, because having no money looks bad and I don't want to have to make a new save.

  8. On my second Mun landing I downloaded the DEMV Ant rover mod and used it to drive to the Mun Arch and back. Because it was only my second landing I wasn't very good at on target landing, so I ended up over 80 kilometers from the arch, so it ended up being a 160 km drive. This was before rover wheels.
  9. With the gravity on gilly, those kerbals would probably propel themselves into orbit when they try to stick the shovel in the dirt.

  11. Ha, anything you build will be 20 times harder to get into orbit with FAR. Far just makes streamline realistic rockets have about 1000 m/s less Dv to get to orbit, that's far from four times easier.

Unfortunately, the videos are not available anymore for some reason.
  17. What you just said is exactly what SQUAD said they were going to do, add multiplayer after the game is mostly finished. They never said it was an immediate priority, they only announced it as something they are planning on doing.

They never said they were discontinuing resources, nor did they say they were prioritizing multiplayer over it, in fact, I remember then saying multiplayer was a long term goal that they want to work on after the game is mostly finished. Currently they're working on refining the career mode, as they said that was what needed the most work. Personally, adding more parts is kind of a waste of time considering they already have a good selection of parts, and if you need more there is always mods. Planets is another story, Planet making in very time consuming, and I think we already have plenty of planets and making more also isn't necessary.
  19. When it eventually does become a feature, I guess you're just going to have to adapt to it then. While there is the possibility there will be an option to turn it off, it isn't guaranteed, and if you're unwilling to get any mods to solve your problem then you're out of luck.
  20. I have a great idea, because you're part of the minority of people who want the current aerodynamics model to stay the same, why don't you mod it out. It's just like us modding it in currently.

You know, there there is always solutions to these kinds of problems, I can think of a few off the top of my head: Too large to fit in a fairing? break it up into smaller pieces and dock it together in orbit, and since you're already using Kethane, you could always use extra planetary launchpads and assemble it off world by shipping up rocket parts. I don't think refining of broken features should cease just because people are too afraid to change. Maybe it some of the hardcore opposers would have their mind changed if the tried FAR before ranting.
  22. He has so many other great mods though, and maybe SQUAD would even hire him like they did with B9 and Nova silisko.
