  1. I was watching some 0.9.0 YT videos and now I can download it Thanks Squad and merry Christmas!
  2. The forum doesn't allow posts below 10 characters.
  3. I'll be in charge of buying moar boosters
  4. You really should give Fine Print a try. It adds a lot more interesting contracts to the game.
  5. I hope that a statistics building will be added to the complex. It would be awesome to keep track of your entire space program's history. Finance graphs, flight history, total assets worth, pilot history, contracts history, science history etc. all in one building! Not saying this will be likely, but this is what I long for.
  6. 0.25 is the first iteration I play a career in. I've installed Fine Print and I must say, it is pretty fun to play.
  7. I have never had a successful "land on Eve and return to Kerbin" trip.
  8. My favorite planet is Duna. I love the beautiful red glow, the atmosphere, the pyramids and the face. When it comes to moons, I am a Minmus guy. It is super easy to get there and the excellent gravity conditions are perfect for a base close to Kerbin.
  9. I have too many failed projects to mention, especially from when I just started playing. Nowadays, I can build pretty much anything I like (within reason) without blowing things up, but I still make mistakes every now and then (or take unnecessary high risques)... I'd say 1 out of 15 new rocket designs is a complete disaster But I can always trace my errors and make something work. It has been a loooooooong time since I completely discarded a model.
  10. I never said thank you despite my extensive use of this mod. So... thanks, for giving a voice to the Kerbals
  11. I am just dropping a line to say thanks. I realized I've never done that although I've been using it for a long time. Don't even want to play the game without DR. So... thanks!
  12. I started with 0.19. Played the game like a mad man up to 0.22. After that it got real busy at work so I had to take it easy for a while. I glanced at 0.23(.5) and 0.24, but didn't do anything else but a little sandbox. 0.25 Is the first game I started (and play) a career.
  13. The only time I have ever experienced a Kerbal being ejected into space was indeed when I had "blocked" the hatch with an antenna. I have never seen it in any other circumstance. I always load my MK1 pod with stuff: batteries, antennas, goo canisters, lights, thermometers, etc. I never have any problems as long as I keep the hatch side clear of junk.
  14. Some good mods I recommend: Ambient Light Adjust - So you can make you screen brighter or darker on the fly. Chaterrer - Just for a cosmetic reason, you can easily do without this one. But it does add to the immersion. Contract Window - Not mandatory, but very useful. Deadly reentry - Here is where it gets serious. This will have a huge influence on your game play. Dmagic Orbital science - For fun, because Kerbals love science. Final Frontier - I like to keep track of things. Final Frontier helps me do just that. Fine Print - going to test this one tonight. Supposedly adds a lot of contract to the game. [EDIT] After some testing, this looks really promising! KW rocketry - Awesome parts. Mechjeb - Priceless information panels. You can also make your own panels. SCANsat - Really cool mod for mapping the system. TAC life support - Also a huge game changer. RT - One of the coolest mods out there if you like setting up relay-systems. Toolbar - Useful buttons all in one group. Modulemanager - Mandatory dll, required for some mods. Those are the mods I currently use.
  15. Thanks, this is just what I was looking for. Downloaded it and will give it a try tonight. Good to read it works with RT as well.
  16. No, I didn't. I haven't played contracts (except for a little sandbox) due to lack of time, so it is all new to me. My first guess was that is was used as a rendez vous tutorial, but it is breaking immersion for me. I'd like to see more meaningful contracts that actually make a little sense.
  17. I got a similar contract. It is random generated, but it is all coming out of the same pool. My weirdest contract is: Rescue a "stranded Kerbal", where a random Kerbal is spawned in LKO Overall I only use the science, land, visit etc. contracts 'cause they make the most sense. I never bother with testing parts.
  18. I started two new games. One career on the hard settings and a sandbox. So far I think it is pretty fun to play with those limitations. It actually turns KSP into a game, although I still miss a lot a features to call it a good game. It needs balancing in the new admin building and it would be nice to get a statistics building where you can monitor overall costs, past flight records, see graphs, crew status etc. The more data collected the better, imho. Sandbox is still golden Although it would be nice to open the science department just for the sake of keeping track of your experiments. Yeah, I am a guy who likes to keep track of things
  19. Who needs Assassin's Creed when you can play KSP On a more serious note: games like that aren't really my thing. I consider myself a strategy gamer. Although I do like an old school based RPG and some of the modern ones (not really RPG) as well.
