Kaber Toss - See how far you can throw a stick!
1096bimu replied to shoveycat's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
yes keep changing the reuls. the rule was that the beam must NOT enter instead of NEVER enter. -
docking is done without mechjeb because the docking module does not have mechjeb on it. Besides it would have taken longer than 20 seconds with mechjeb, and you can see the timer on the 5th screenshot. It should be 5 points each for a total of 20 thousand points.

Now if you would, put my perfectly qualified entry in the leader board. -

How about just 1 point for each launch then? Cuz you can't have more than 1 anyway. 4000 screens? It says docking, not rendezvous.
-
- It contains 6 kerbals with 1 lander can and 1 hitch-hiker - It has storage space for all resources (my moded lander can contains Xexon) - It is epic - There was no resulting space debris as the last stage is attached to the station +50 pts - It has 32 modules, 30 fully autonomous drones and 2 crew modules. +32 pts - I docked 4,114 times without MechJeb in about 24 hours time(my moded lander can generates monopropellant). +20,570 pts Total = 20,652 pts

sure, after either you delete this challenge, or you put my entry up on the leader boards.
-
you don't need to like me, you just need to do what you promised, and put the qualified entries in the leader board also I don't care about spoiling the fun or whatever, I care if you are lying to people when you put up a challenge but in fact won't put up the scored of anyone but your self.

Did I? What did I change? I never changed any rules please do not spread false information. Besides, why am I not allowed to change rules when everyone else can do it? -

Kaber Toss - See how far you can throw a stick!

Except that it is within the spirit, whatever it is. Also it does not violate rule 3 because I decided to end it there. Or if you prefer a final resting point, you can give me infinite units as my score, I'll accept that as well. -
Moho 75 + Kerbin Orbit 5 =80 Pts One Launch to rule them all: 20 Borderline relevant: 20 (exactly 50 parts, they are all relevant parts, no excessive struts, no hidden parts) SST? : 20 (2 stages into orbit and no more staging) Final Score = 140 Pts I could get back into orbit but did not have enough to return to Kerbin

I will accept alarm clock as stock -
I'm not sure about that for the ones where I have .... let's just say controversial entries. and yes I do have a lot more respect for the ones that do fit your description a little more. Anyway, if you really want a horizontal rocket, here's my horizontal rocket with a brand new fast sled: It is completely horizontal as far as the game is concerned. and the sled does got faster than 100m/s 142.7 tones

it is not a "STABLE" orbit And like the challenge guideline states, it's stock only when unspecified. -

2,421 Gigameters, about 2.4 light- hour Point of separation is about 200km above Kerbin Each of those lines on the runway is 50 meters in length (start of one line to the start of the next line), so my score is: 48,420,000,000 Units - 4000 Unites = 48,419,996,000 Units be assured that this does follow all the rules of the challenge: - rockets are allowed - It is manned and the kerbal does survive (in his capsule) - It isn't a stable orbit, it's on escape trajectory -
Your challenge was never realistic to start with, because launching this way does not save you any fuel or complexity. So why should you worry about it?
-
Except there is no such a thing as a light barrier.
-
Hey let's stop changing the rules. Why should we participate in your challenge if you keep changing the rules just to disqualify us?
-
in case you haven't noticed, it's not about realism or efficient launches.

147 tones, +10 for no wheels = 157 tones. And of course, it completely follows the rules as stated in the OP: -It does move across terrain -It is rocket powered, partially at least -It does not leave the runway -No jet engine, No wings, No Debug Menu -Moded FAR
