  1. If you can manage it! 50 points is a lot.
  2. I\'m fairly certain that\'s SC3K. The edges of the tiles, where they meet the water, is what I\'m looking at. Also, the big red bridges.
  3. Right! This is a challenge to see who can do the most stuff with their rocket! As in, how many singular 'missions' can you pack into one flight? Missions: -Launching a satellite into a stable Kerbin orbit (10 points) -Launching a reasonably-sized space station into a stable Kerbin orbit (20 points) -Launching a satellite into a stable Mun orbit (30 points) -Launching a reasonably-sized space station into a stable Mun orbit (40 points) -Landing on the Mun (50 points) -Returning to Kerbin safely (60 points) Those are your goals. What I want to see you do is get as many points as possible. Every time you accomplish a mission, you get the corresponding number of points. For example, any satellite in a stable Kerbin orbit will net you ten points apiece! Mun landings are worth fifty points apiece, so try to go for multiple landings! Rules: -The usage of any balanced mod pack is allowed. CFG edits are strictly banned. -You must document your flight, otherwise it may not be counted. A video recording of the entire mission is allowed, but if you do not have the capability to do so, screenshots at points of interest are acceptable. Make sure you get every point of interest, though! -You\'ll have to tally points yourself. No fudging the numbers. -Extra points may be awarded for outstanding creativity, by the judge [me], or whenever I feel like it. -Presentation is everything! A good presentation makes me want to give out points like presents on Christmas! -There will be a 'Top Three' for scoring. Top Three 1: Shedao, 2760 points! 2: Smoke, 1130 points + 10 Awesomeness Points 3: 707-Engineering, 230 points + 10 Presentation Points. Godspeed, gentlemen!
  4. Ba ba bum! Ba da da bum! A duck walked up to a lemonade stand and he said to the man, running the stand: 'Hey!' bum bum bum 'Got any grapes?'
  5. Apologies! This guy knows what he\'s talking about; I do not :-[
  6. You can do this in 3DS Max also. First, make sure that there are no groups. All objects must be separate from each other. Next, select all objects except for your node_collider, and group them. If you can\'t get at some of them, use the Select by Name tool to do so. That\'s it! You should now have your grouped objects, and node_collider.
  7. Right, most of us know that a LFE with negative fuel consumption will re-fill a fuel tank. Some people have even taken this ability and produced 'solar panels', which act as if they absorb sunlight to regenerate fuel. Two things I\'d like to know: 1: The issue with these solar panels is that they can fill a tank beyond its max capacity. Has this been fixed, or is there a workaround? 2: Does the same property apply to RCS thrusters?
  8. Personally, I\'ve noticed that they stop having a significant effect around 35,000 meters, as the atmosphere gets much thinner around that point.
  9. Your argument - and ponies - are invalid. And quite possibly dead. Actually, most likely so. I WIN.
  10. Some group of students actually did this... they set the NXT to log information with various sensors, and packed it into the upper half of a large rocket. I can\'t find the video, unfortunately.
  11. DO WANT Could I have this in 1280x1024, please?
  12. Right, let\'s get back on topic folks.
  13. No, no, I like Minecraft a lot. Nova just hates everything, especially the fact that Notch wears his trilby indoors.
  14. Whoops, got me there. Energia II was still an interesting concept.
  15. What I find most interesting about Energia is the fact that the entire system was designed to be re-used -- in fact, the boosters were designed to be flown back to an airfield, where they\'d land much like the Shuttle!
  16. Problem is, there really isn\'t much in the MC world that could be restyled into a Kerbal theme.
  17. Sure -- when you\'re over the general area, just deorbit, and fly your rocket back to the KSC using the circle purple mark as guidance. Shh! Not so loud!
  18. Darn, you guessed already! Yeah, that\'s what I\'m doing now.
  19. Sorry for the extra-necro, but I\'m going to put the other two skins into the main post, and add another of my own.
  20. Have you ever fabricated an entire gun before?
