  1. Me too. Do you use Blender to make the models and animations? (Sorry if it was asked before)
  2. Which version did you pick for final texture? The black concept or the original white like in American Pack?
  3. I like how the parachute cover is separate. I can't see the two rear windows on the model. Are you going to include them only on the texture of the pod?
  4. That would be great. Would the LOK have been suitabe for the Soyuz or just the N1?
  5. The problem occours with or without SAS but not always. If I turn SAS on it keeps it straight but when I make a turn (with SAS on) for docking alignment as soon as I press WASD it starts to spin for a direction which makes docking out of question. I have a bunch of helpful mods installed like RCS build (first i thought it caused the bug but not), crew manifest and docking alignment. Maybe one of these other mods was the saboteur. I'll try it without any other mods installed.
  6. I have a bug which the Soviet Pack or anything else could be, I'm not sure. Sometimes the spacecraft starts to spin randomly for no reason what makes docking impossible. Does anyone know anything about it? Has this occured for anybody else?
  7. I understand, sorry then. So we're just waiting for KAS update I guess.
  8. Is the mod going to be updated sometime? I can't attach anything in space or on Mun. I'm only ablet to grab parts but cannot attach them.
  9. Well if the part count is lower that's never a problem I guess and it makes the rocket even more stable. If I may suggest you when you plan to modify the saturn parts or if Razorcane will someday the 2/3s interstage and stage 2 fuel tank could be one part too. But that's just an idea I really don't want to push it. Also may I ask you how can I disable the fuel crossfeed on the LEM adapter? I started an Apollo base and when I wanted to land a 'solar power farm' which used a different engine and the 3rd stage used it's fuel. I could prevent it after with additional non-crossfeed parts but if there's an easy way to handle it that would be useful for me. If not than I'll stick to my solution scince it really isn't that much of a problem.
  10. Great. Altough I personally find the 5 engine core looking better but that's just an opinion. Has anyone pm-d you about config editing? I know it's not much but I could help in the balancing part or even make a try on the other parameters as well. I'm not an expert but if it helps I'm in.
  11. Excuse me if anybody asked this earlier but I was thinking of are you going to do both of the 4 engine and the 5 engine 1st stages or only one of them?
  12. I'm not sure if it was mentioned before but if I reload a save or return to 'flight' from space center when the lander module is already on the surface of the Mun its wobbling around in one place because of the separate landing legs. It even blows up sometimes. Is it possible to modify the descent stage and the legs to be one part in the next release like the Lionhead MEM's? Edit: I found a solution to the S2/S3 separation when accidentally S2 tank and S2/S3 adapter separated by setting the decoupler force of S1/S2 interstage adapter to 0. Seems like 30 was too much for some reason.
  13. I just discovered this thread and it's amazing to have a WIP SLS mod. The concepts and models look really good. Congratulations on the process you made in so little time!
  14. I was also looking for possible crawler mods but haven't found any. I was talking about doing it with stock parts only not modding one. Just had an idea and I thought I'd post it here. Well of course it requires some hundred parts do do one in the VAB but it's fun!
  15. Has anybody tried to build a historicaly accurate launch tower to the rocket with stock parts? Try it! I had quite a few hours of fun working on it. This is a pretty good challenge.
  16. Now I found it and even the forums thread for that mod. You are right. Anyway as I remember a bunch of pages earlier there has been a discussion about "advertising" the mod. Has there been any further planning on that? I would definiately help in that in my way. /And that picture is indeed awesome./
  17. Not like it's a big deal because this was the first addon which broke my game. And that Saturn didn't even lift.
  18. I assembled the Saturn IB. It is really good and even the look of it is very nice but I think it has too much delta v. The 2nd stage tank had half of it's fuel after finalizing the orbit.
  19. Are you planning to include the separator engines on the SI/II adapter and on the 3rd stage sometime if you modify the parts?
  20. Yes, you have to cut the braking chutes (the 2nd one on the action list) otherwise the main chutes won't be operational. I had to do the same thing. Strange but it seems that the game only supports one chute at a time from the same parachute bag.
  21. You have to add an action group including all 4 wheels and the pod. Add "toggle" from the wheels and the pod to one of the numbers so you just have to press that and it deploys fully. Or manually click on the wheels and then on toggle them.
  22. So I rescaled the LRV to 0.1 which the LM SAS could handle quite well. Real life LM's mass was 14,700kg LRV's 210kg, so the rate is 1/70. AMP's LM is somewhat 5000kg so it's 1/3 of real life LM's mass if KSP's mass measurement unit is metric tonnes. In this case the Bobcat LRV needs to be 70kg (0.07. One Bobcat LRV wheel is 0.05) in game. I have to test how LRV will work if I rescale the mass due to real life rate but I guess Bobcat made it this heavy for a reason. Edit: Well, with this little mass it floats around just for simple WASD commands like a feather because of pod torque (I guess) so I'll stick to the 0.1 mass or 0.2 as Razorcane suggested for now. That seemed to be fine.
  23. Yes, I just realized when I was searching for parts in the utility section and I found the wheels then the pod. Thanks Bobcat for the kind surprise! It works very well. The only problem is as I mentioned that the LM weights about 5 tonnes wit the pod, tank, legs etc. and the LRV is 1 so 1/6 h of the weight of the LM/LRV is the LRV which made it turn away from attitude and with it the Saturn had barely enough power to make it to the mun. I hardly touched the SOI of the Mun with it so I think the AMP parts will be rebalanced for future update thinking about the rover.
