  1. 46 846 m No matter how many wings i stuck on the rocket it always nosed down and crashed in almost 90 degree angle. If I tried to balance it it would cartwheel on launch and crash.
  2. Also another thing i just remembered is that controls were changed as well. Pitch was inverted and roll and yaw were switched meaning QE for yaw and AD for roll which made matters quite complicated.
  3. Yup this was just lander there is a orbital part to this rocket chair and it was massive the only problem i had with this design was that the chair had inverted navball what made take off and orbital rendezvous quite a challenge. the whole rocket was a bit oversized for a mere Mun mission.

At peak 6,348 Concurrent users played it today and 3,370 are playing it right now and it is on second page in the top sellers list on steam so my guess would be that a lot of people bought it during the latest steam sale at least 10,000 or 20,000 or even more. Also there are over 70,000 people registered on this forum so i think at least ten times more people bought the game before summer sale started.

  8. Launched few satellites to polar orbit using my multiple satellite launcher with 5 satellites. The thing had far more deltaV than necessary so i added another stage to see if i send it all the way to Jool. The launch succeeded on 3rd try and after i got into space it was easy going. After the arrival to Jool i detached one satellite and sent it to Pol. I will put one satellite to each of the Jool's moons tomorrow. What i was doing is that i build an upwards facing rocket engine and used it to find out which engine will catapult me the highest and i wanted parachutes to keep the kerbals alive. So i attached one parachute box to the lander can containing the kerbal. On the demonstration video you get an option to get a parachute when you click the box in my case nothing happens when i click it.

  13. I cannot get this to work I copied the VNG folder to my GameData folder and i have the models showing up in game and VAB but when i on EVA and try to get a parachute from the box nothing happens also the ejection module does not work either. I do not understand what is wrong.
  14. So over last few days i build tested and launched my first rocket to Minmus with a mini RCS powered rover. There were some trouble during the booster development mainly with rocket wobbling about like a wet noodle or just simply exploding on launchpad. I solved these issues by, you guessed it, adding some struts. Here is a picture of the first launch that went all right. Keen observers may have noticed that the earlier version had parachutes on the SRBs instead of nosecones for reusability but they did not work as expected and caused them to crash into the main rocket after separation which resulted in a massive explosion and complete destruction of the main rocket Unfortunately the first mission ended with a crash and death because i came to Minmus too fast. The next one was a bit more successful but the last decoupler was placed upside down so when i detached the rover from bottom of my lander it remained stuck to it and i had to return to Kerbin and flip the decoupler in VAB. Fortunately third time was the charm in my case and the last landing went without a hitch. I landed detached the rover and went for a drive. The lander has landed, you can see the rover on the bottom part of it. This can only end well Smooth landing After rather spectacular crash of my rover i went back to the lander on EVA pack RCS. Of course i left the flag behind to mark my achievement forever. I run out of the pack fuel and overshot the lander by more than 1 km so i had to fly it to the poor Kerbal and since i did not put any ladders on the bloody thing i had to jump on top of the lander. It took me about 20 tries to finally get it right i boarded the ship and at last i could be on my way home. When i was setting up for aerobrake i noticed that the Kerbol disappeared because the Mun was in the way. An eclipse!! This game is positively the most beautiful game ever. Final deceleration and parachute deployment Mission crew is very eager to get out from the command module I landed about 40 km from KSC and designed a little passenger jet to fly the kerbals back to space centre. The crew recovery did not go exactly as planned and in the end i had to save 5 Kerbals instead of the original trio. Success! Somebody is excited that he will get home unharmed (probably). Back at runway posing for newspaper picture. Time to prepare a parade for the latest heroes of Kerbal space exploration.

  19. Il 2 1946 and Cliffs of Dover is what i used to play before KSP. Now i cannot stop building and launching rockets.
