  1. When 0.24 is released, will this be automatically updated? I just can't play ksp without FAR.
  2. Instead of a ship being completely locked once you remove a mod from your game, when you have a part that belongs to the mod on that ship, how about just give the user an option to automatically remove the part from the ship and load it without those parts?
  3. I second this, ive wanted to do this for a while.
  4. Without FAR, you need at-least 4,500 Dv to get into orbit around Kerbin. It depends how you want to build your rocket, you can make the first stage with 3.75m parts and make it an SSTO with 4,500Dv. (if the upper stages aren't heavy) Or you could put like 2,500 in the first stage and 2,000 in the second stage. It's all your choice.

  9. Can you make it compatible with FAR and remove the bug? I don't use control surfaces on any of my FAR rockets, but it does sound annoying.

  11. For the response to the first few questions or statements to my question: Since I have FAR, I tend to take a more efficient flight profile which pushes my apoapsis farther away horizontally. So by time I'm like half way around the planet, coasting to my apoapsis, I've lost connection. And also in this case, I'm launhcing at 270 and not 90, so I'll lose connection slightly faster because of that.
  12. So I just realized that I now need a manned space-shuttle, since I installed RT2, in order to startup my initial satellite network. What's a good mod for cargo bays? (Any besides b9)
  13. I mainly use satellites to scan for kethane, and transmit remotetech data. And also other types of satellites here and there, like science data collection or maybe a hullcam telescope. It all differs. But I like to do things realistically and send things unmanned first. First I send an unmanned satellite, then I send an unmanned rover (With mods where I can collect science on the ground: Surface samples, etc. Just like kerbals can). Then after that, I get ready to send kerbals. The point of all of this is to keep things more realistic, and plus with TAC Life Support, I can't risk keeping kerbals places for too long on another celestial body, as their life resources may start to deteriorate.
  14. Maybe put the first one on launch clams and separate them with octagonal struts on the outside of the clamps or something? Idk. Be creative.
  15. Oh, I was looking at the screenshots. I just noticed people were trying to leave eve, not land on it with engines.

  17. I think we should be able to add a description to our rockets, so we know which rocket to select before selecting them. I name my rockets like "Alpha-I" "Bravo-X" (just to look cool and professional) and sometimes I forget the purpose of some rockets unless it's a really important rocket. And I don't wanna keep loading different rockets to look at them and try to remember.
  18. Eve has an atmosphere, could'nt you just land with parachutes, then re-pack them after landing?

  20. I wanna break the highest land-speed record for ksp, but also lookup some more records for fun. Is there an updated list of ksp world records?
  21. I agree with the lethal dosage. People should learn to learn independently.
  22. Ksp loads things by default at 2.5k You can change this with various mods, one I know of is "Lazor Systems" which has an option to increase draw distance in its menu.
