  2. I did this last night and so far I'm very pleased. I had been getting crashes (I'm running 64 bit) and with your test setup I haven't had even one.
  3. Would one of you regulars please take a moment and post a guide to installing on 24.2 (preferably 64 bit)? The OP only references 23.5, but from reading back several pages, you all seem to be using a version that works on version 24.2. I understand that EVE may not be officially ready for version 24, but I'd sure like to give it a shot. Thank you

  7. My endeavor to land at all the anomalies on Kerbin with the EWCBL 25. I figured I'd do the Harder ones first. Had to use Sepatron-Assisted-Braking. OK, Perhaps this isn't going to be easy...
  8. I'br been searching for something like this. You might say I've been looking far and near.
  9. Slide 4 shows the "Blank texture layer", without the "Ascention" showing. Where did this layer come from? Did you create it? Or was it included in one of the distributions you downloaded? I have looked in each of the versions since and including 3.06, and cannot find any file (KSO25blank_v306.tga). If you created it, could you please elaborate? Thank you! Edit: Nevermind.   11. I have a suggestion to help with runway lineups and landings. I drove a small probe to the west end of the runway and parked it right at the bottom of the hill, lined up precisely with the centerline. I called it "09 centerline". I target it during the deorbit process and follow the marker straight in.
  12. Can't explain it and can't re-create it. I must have launched without a crew in the first place.
  13. I am not using Deadly Re-entry and this was my 2nd mission in the EWBCL. No cargo, no EVA's. Just a quick polar orbit & landing. First mission was uneventful.
  14. I made a hard landing at the island landing strip SE of KSC. Upon coming to a stop, I realized that the crew is gone! Is is possible to land so hard as to kill the crew but not destroy the ship?

  20. Wow! Your capsule looks fantastic. I absolutely LOVE IVA mode on the old version and the new one looks even better.
  21. I realized that I was on the right track, but I was accidentally inserting a space before one of the indentation brackets. When I fixed that, I was able to copy a new vehicle into an existing persistent.sfs file. The new vessel has to be inserted after the last original vessel, before the ROSTER section. You cannot have extra lines, spaces or any additional characters. In notepad, the indentation brackets are positioned by TAB. Hope others find this helpful.
