  1. Wohoo, Luminoso just got greenlit on Steam! You read it here first! Now I guess I have to do some paperwork and send it to Valve before it can actually go live. Edit: This seems to be easier than I thought. Currently in the process of setting up the store page. Edit 2: All set up, now it's up to Valve to do a review of my settings. Once that's done, it should go live soon.
  2. It looks like Apple has finally approved of the game. It's currently "processing for App Store," and should be available soon . Edit: It is now available for download!
  3. Interesting. I'm 100% sure I have brought this up when the tech tree was implemented. I didn't even get a response.
  4. If by "volume" you mean size of the install, that's mostly related to the Unity game engine I'm using. It's not really possible to leave things out because it doesn't provide that option. The game code itself and the texture and sound files are rather small. Regarding the delay, I'd like to remove that as well, but I don't think it can be helped. On Android, the platform itself is inducing some kind of lag for audio playback as far as I know. The touch itself should be registered pretty instantaneously, so that's when the acceleration is applied. I'm triggering the sound effect playback right when the acceleration is applied, and I've also made sure that there is no "silence" at the beginning of the original sound file. So yeah, that's pretty much the story about that I'm glad you like it, though. I wanted for this one to be kind of a "clean" look and feel where you have a "smooth" experience without bumps and corners. Not sure if I can explain it right
  5. It shouldn't matter where your tweaks live. In fact, I'm doing it the same way - have a personal folder with ModuleManager tweaks
  6. I have just submitted the game for review on Apple's App Store. Sadly, this will take a while for them to review it Also, I've released a new version on Android that includes a button to mute sound
  7. Hey, it's me again with a new game currently in development: The game doesn't have a name yet - any suggestions?
  8. There is no browser version at this time. For now, it's just for atmosphere. In fact they begin to pulse once they reach a certain altitude. I can add that in future versions.
  9. Hey, I've made a game again. This time, it's a mini game about the Kessler syndrome, where you try to put as many satellites into orbit as possible. You can get it for Android here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.blizzy.kesslersyndrome iOS: https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/kessler-syndrome/id982835169?mt=8
  10. Not yet. For the PC version, I think it needs to have more features than it has now.
  11. The Android version is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.blizzy.battletanks
  12. I'm generally looking for all the feedback I can get, so every little bit helps. The networking code is under my full control, I have actually written it myself (aside from the operating system's network stack, obviously)
  13. Will it be possible to turn that off? Personally I'd find that annoying.
  14. Wohoo, it is now available on the App Store as well
  15. For that I would need your e-mail address (does not have to be your Apple ID.) Just send me a PM. First, install the "Test Flight" app from Apple. You will also get an invitation e-mail containing a link that needs to be opened in your browser on the device. Of course that's easiest if you already read your e-mail on the device After accepting the invitation, use the Test Flight app to install the game. After that, it can be run and uninstalled like a regular app. The Test Flight app is only necessary during the testing.
  16. Alright, I've just submitted the game for review on the App Store. Fingers crossed I can still add anyone interested as a beta tester, by the way.
  17. I like to believe that they are doing it all for the good of the App Store. If you look at Google Play, there is an awful lot of crap in there that you will never want to install on your device, let alone spend any amount of money on. But yeah, I've also only read about their process on various sites. Bottom line is that they seem to be rather strict, and they also take their good time. My other game Luminoso is sitting in the "waiting for review" queue for 5 days now.
  18. Thanks! At the moment it is still very hard. Not because of technical hurdles, but in creating an active community. That is, if you log into the game, most of the time there is noone there to play against, because there are only a few players registered in the first place. So that is why I'm going to more platforms as well. I'm also planning on putting this up on Steam Greenlight some day. (Yes, it is possible to play cross-platform.) - - - Updated - - - By the way, I think I can add you as a tester if you like. The game does not need to be fully released on the App Store to do that. (Same goes for everyone else interested in trying the iOS version.)
  19. Just in case anyone is interested, I've submitted Luminoso to Apple's app store as well. It's still sitting in the waiting queue, however.
