  1. Wait, what? If the issue is caused by a stock bug/"feature", and causes the mod not to work, isn't it really a mod bug? It's not like the stock game is using overlays. Obviously it's up to you if you want to fix it, but I can't follow your reasoning. "I've confirmed it's not a Kethane issue" doesn't make any sense if the only symptom of the bug is that Kethane no longer works. For the record, I only have MechJeb2 out of those plugins.
  2. Really looking forward to the full pack, started anew with the update and want my new bases to be MMM
  3. EVA supplies are allocated on pressing the EVA button, and only then.
  4. Is it possible to have this activated by staging? IE like a decoupler?
  5. Export to CSV perhaps? Telemachus mod also provides similar information with more elaborate graphs, but requires to run in a separate browser.
  6. If you are using an aerodynamics mod, they should make your craft more aerodynamic, by hiding things like batteries, solar panels and ladders that would otherwise be exposed to the air. If you aren't, they make your rocket look pretty. The KW interstage adapters are just modified decouplers that, again, just make the rocket look pretty by hiding things you wouldn't normally see - exposed engines and so on. The official default engines have them already built in (the sheath that covers your engine when you place a decoupler below it) but the KW engines don't, hence the need for adapters for prettiness.
  7. I've just docked to my space station. I want to swap around who's on board. I used to transfer crew with Crew Manifest; I removed it as I thought it was now redundant. However, I don't see a way to transfer kerbals without EVA. Is it possible? I guess I can transfer by EVA but I might reinstall CM if this isn't possbile. It's not fun just flying back and forth between ships with 4 Kerbals.
  8. The product has to be 'as described'. If you don't expect an alpha to malfunction, that's your own misunderstanding. Caveat emptor.
  9. It's probably best that this be in the Add-ons forum, like the last time, for visibility.
  10. For it to realistically be a major part of the final game rather than an "oh, and here are some plane parts, but they're for fun, not for missions" is some sort of welding upgrade... workable planes would also involve the plane not wobbling around at joints. The new video looks good in that regard but it is a rather small plane.
  11. Oh god, give it a rest would you?
  12. this update *shouldn't* break mods. Worst case, MechJeb doesn't know what to do with the stable ASAS, but one of the testers said they'd been testing mods too, to see how the game reacts.
  13. "seems to break" isn't a very useful bug report. The rest sounds like you're going fast and experiencing atmospheric thermal/drag symptoms.
  14. ... but still requires editing the config files of the mod to make the KAS winch rope longer. Why not just make the drill longer? It's pretty much the same thing really, abusing a mod, and it's probably more realistic than mines-on-ropes.
  15. No, that won't help. The code loads everything 'on flight start', regardless of whether you've opened the window.
  16. Tell us where you put the files on your computer.
  17. Everyone has permission. You have permission. mumech.dll (the bones of Damned Robotics and Infernal Robotics) is GPL. It's ok, it's just noticeably Dutch
  18. Short answer: yes. Longer answer: yes, but they might fly more 'stable' than you'd expect (good for big things, perhaps bad for small things.). Also, you need to back up your craft files to your documents or something because for some reason KSP 0.21 will ask "delete your old saves?" and if you say yes it thinks "oh well, their crafts can go too!"
  19. Works fine = no crashes, or works fine = uses new ASAS? Also, if I copy the flags from my persistence file, can I at least save my flags?
  20. Are you sure it's full zoom? I find myself surprised at the planets being 'beyond' the stars (you zoom in so far that the starfield skydome becomes a blurry mess, while the planet is sharply rendered.
  21. Black pixels require no less memory than green, red or blue pixels.
  22. Can you stop insisting on posting this every time people mention polar orbits? They're quite obviously referring to an orbit near the Poles rather than the equator. Even a true polar orbit is infinitely more useful for scanning than an equatorial one.
  23. On disk, the files are stored as PNG which involves interpolation and compression. In memory, the images are handled pixel by pixel, essentially making them 'bitmap' in memory. Bitmaps are substantially fatter than other image types.
