  1. Personally I like the new atmosphere. It feels more realistic, kinda like a bouncy flow feeling to it. I don't know how to describe it but flying a plane feels smoother lets say compared to the old soup o sphere. Although, I haven't tried Eve, Duna, or Laythe yet.
  2. We can assume considering it is that high, but that doesn't explain why everything is green and there is liquid water. 250K is still -23C. Water should freeze and the grass shouldn't be so green. I'm not sure how you are measuring parts tempature cause the right click menu doesn't have that. Could you explain a little about how to so I can go do some testing myself. I don't know a lot about jet engines but I assume it would be kinda like a car engine and take some time to warm up. So having it heat up kinda slowly seems resonable to me.
  3. Sure its possible and would be a fun challenge to see how long it would stay at like a 65kmx65km orbit before it falls down. However the limit to 4x physical warp would kill it for me.
  4. This goes along the lines of the plan I was trying to describe with the VIP!
  5. Would there be a efficient way to get profit? Sending orange tanks with a probe core and parachutes to kerbin and recover them, would that produce the largest profit?
  6. So guys, a few questions regarding the 1.0 update with resource harvesting and VIP transporting. Lets say I had a mining ship LANDED on minmus, a fuel depot (space station) in minmus ORBIT. Now lets say I got a VIP ferry contract, he needs to go to some outter planet, Laythe for instance. Can I build a SSTO and move him to the fuel depot in minmius orbit. Change the crew pod he is in and than send him to his destination in a "bus" kind of ship. (the SSTO returns to kerbin for re-use) once he has been to his destination have a SSTO meet him at the fuel depot again and take him home. Basically this way I'm not having to design a ship capable of a long trip and refueling it. Essentially more specialized craft desined for one or two tasks only. Hope you guys follow me and understand what the hell I'm trying to say! Also... Is it possible to sell ore, or the refined fuel for profit?
  7. So guys, my opinion on KSP 1.0 is its not kinda over powered. At the same time though it feels more realistic. Like its so easy to get outta the atmosphere now. Anyway... Started a series for KSP 1.0 if anyone wants to check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJC_9aNzV_E
  8. Wow, that's all I can say haha. This is about the most unique thing I've seen in a while! Good job man!
  9. Reminds me of a mix between a V-1 and a SU-47
  10. A couple nights ago I shot a video discussing and debating the different types of gaming communities and fan bases. Mentioned KSP a lot figured I would share.
  11. You sir, earn some rep. Yeah I totally agree with your statement though.
  12. I figure out Government likes to screw with us and waste tax dollars doing this to keep the mystery around area-51. Also... That is a CLASSIC, nostalgic "ufo model" from the 50's... Doubt ET life forms have ships like that.
  13. I saw this earlier in the same FB group you are talking about. I gotta say it is quiet amazing at the level of detail! Way better than anything I could ever draw!
  14. Hello everyone! I hope some of you stick with me and decide to read this entire thing! Since the KSP forums are the nicest, and most helpful gaming community I've ever been a part of I figured I would start by asking here. I have a Youtube channel which I am trying to grow its fanbase and I believe with enough hard work it is possible. (will link it below) Since KSP forums has the best community I am asking for your help! With the youtube channel comes the need for a cover photo to represent your channel along with a cool looking logo! See where this is going yet? I have very very limited image editing and enhancing skills and could use some assistance in creating a cover photo and a cool logo. Both of which will need to represent my channel which covers video games but mainly KSP. (right now waiting for the KSP 1.0 update to upload any more KSP videos.) I do want to apologize ahead of time if the mods frown upon this thread, I just didn't know where else to ask for help from the mass KSP community. If your still reading you must be a little interested at this point right? So you may be wondering, "Okay, well what kind of design do you want?" See... I do not know, I am not that creative of a person and really just would rather be surprised by what you all can come up with rather than me trying to describe what I would want when I doubt it will look as good. Last paragraph! You may be wondering, "Whats in it for me?" I cannot promise payment, (yes I am asking out of the goodness of everyones heart.) However, I can promise recognition. For example, mentioning your forum name on my website plus in a new video after the pictures have been updated. Also if you have a forum thread where you do image editing and making images look all pretty. That will be linked in a overlay in a video, on the website and mentioned in video. Again guys, I'm just asking for a little help when I could use it! Thank you for reading!
  15. Dude, amazing! In a weirdly terraformed screwed up kind of way!
  16. Can't say I'm a huge fan of the way scanned resources look. Still prefer the old Kethane hex tiles.
  17. Holy mother of... How? Can't wait to see a video of how the elevator and stuff work.
  18. 1.0 is shaping up to be pretty awesome! can't wait to see what the final product is like!
  19. Yes FAR is one hell of a learning curve, one that I have not yet mastered. However it adds a lot to the game, my favorite part is deorbiting something and having realistic drag on it. Couple FAR with DR and its amazing, a nightmare for returning SSTO's and shuttles though! With actual planes though, you gotta know what you're doing and really fine tune all the little aspects, such as control surfaces, wing area, shape of the craft etc.
  20. Agreed, if you are leaving in orbit yeah they are totally worth it. Or if its a long haul with a big load. I just hate having to lift nukes off the planet again, because of the weight.
  21. Launch weight increase, nukes are heavy. Therefore it will take a larger launcher to put it in orbit and if you're in career, they're expensive.
  22. Realize that CKAN is a major pain to use... But still trying to get it to work...
  23. Next up, using SRB's and having them run out when you reach the ramp!
  24. Considering starting to build a new space station.
