  2. Corax, I will take a look at the code and see if I think that I might be able to take this over and run with it. No promises, it will have to fit in with my 'other' work, but I don't want this to die.. Especially now that there are some really nice other mods for programming the probes and such. Good luck, and I might have to contact you if I get really stumped.... Thanks DrTedAstro.

  4. Ok, Now it shows up. Strange why when i am using Kethane 7.7 i have to tell Fusebox i do not have Kethane.??????
  5. I am working on making some completely autonomous probes / rovers / missions, and only using the 'controls is in Houston' approach. I really like what you have been doing with KoS, as it fits into what i am 'trying' to do. I have been looking forward to a mod such as this since i started KSP, and you have proven that it has the whereforall to do what is needed. Thanks.
  6. The 'idea' is that if i land on rough, uneven terrain, the stabilization flaps give me more of a chance to not roll over and bust the mission. I am currently at 50% like, 50% going to change to something different. The plethora of antennae are just to make sure i don't 'leave home without it'... This was basically a major test bed / proof of concept. The basic idea for this rover is you send it out first. It can handle less than optimal landing zones and terrain. I use it to remotely scout around for where i want to send the troops and kit. Once they arrive, they can use it for scouting, resource transfer, currently via Lazor Systems. I will be adding crane attachments, and various other items that it will be able to hook upto and use. Thanks for the nice comment. I appreciate it. I will work on getting the video's better this next go. I think the next vid will show the sky-crane delivery system with the rover. Now i just need to think of a good name for the rover.
  7. Thanks, sorry i missed the link. If you have time and want to critique, take a look at The video sucks, but it was my first. the rover in the vid, compacted, is 5.61 tons and works good. I have the sky-crane for atmospheric and non-atmospheric working just fine... Time for the code... agian, thanks.

  10. @Steven Mading. Have you uploaded your KoS file for the sky-crane landing from earlier post. I would like to start from back to front as you have. I now have a good rover / crane combo that i want to build on and it will be where code start. I liked your methods used for the landing.. I have several other 'options' that i am interested in trying for the MaxSlope issue prior to touch down. Again, great job.

Hello KospY and all, When trying to use the current version of KAS with 0.21, i am getting terrible game pauses, stutters and the log file is filling up with [EXC 07:36:42.634] NullReferenceException [EXC 07:36:42.694] NullReferenceException [EXC 07:36:42.755] NullReferenceException [EXC 07:36:42.815] NullReferenceException . When i remove KAS, it goes away... I was wondering if you or anyone else has seen this and might know what is causing this conflict. much thanks, love the mod, just need these things to go away. The log has thousands of these..
  13. First, yes, this shuttle is fantastic. Looks great and will have been created with more care and consideration than most others. Next, YES, a forum / conversation regarding and hopefully separating facts from fiction would be great. Just hit me wrong, prior to first cup o java. I will leave it at that, as i would never wish to muddle or befuddle anything on this forum. Helldiver and ZRM have done are are doing a fantastic job on this one...
  14. Ok, lets see here.. 135 "Manned" flights for shuttle, and what was it????? oh,yes.. ONE unmanned flight... While the Buran might have "talked the talk", the shuttles "Walked the walk".

  17. Ok, i bet that is it. I have KAS disabled at the moment, not in GameData. is there some method, or .cfg, or way, that when i pull mods out for debuging and such that i will NOT have to change the fuzebox load? Or maybe just modify some parameter file??? thanks. EDIT: I typically run with kethane, aviation lights and 'sometimes' with KAS.. I am currently chasing a bothersome bug that seems to be a conflict with KAS so that is why it is pulled at this time. thanks.
  18. yes, that is what i did. I selected the With_all, and popped the contents of the GameData folder into my GameData folder. It is sitting there with all of the other sub-dirs, like mechjeb2, Kethane, etc..... Nothing in top right corner. MechJeb on upper right side of screen...
  19. Hello to all. I finally have a couple of rovers that i would like to show using short video. Sorry, but i have not done that before so if there is some post or place to look to get idea of how to do this would be great. All craft are using the great stuff from here (yes sirkut, i finally managed to build them backwards..).. again, thanks for info to point me in right direction to be able to show you my new craft and get feedback on them. NOTE: Ok, lets see if this works. 5.61 ton rover package. I have skycrane versions for atmospheric and non-atmospheric landings as well. Please enjoy and i look forward to comments.
