1. 1287: two million, five hundred thousand tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night.
2. Floor 1271: Full of Bradbury's "Firemen" that want to burn the aforementioned script for Hamlet
3. ...and a side of
4. Two states of energy, kinetic and potential?
5. I'd suggest the works of Chris Foss, Patrick Woodroffe, Roger Dean, Philip Castle
6. Thunderbolt variant of the Starfury. Same idea, but at least I'll be able to turn on a dime. If I'm to be Earth-bound, then I'll take Thunderbird 2 and all of the rescue pod options to go with it. EDIT: Eagle 1 from Space:1999 would be *VERY* welcome!
7. *IF* the Pak will give you the formula for it. Chances are you won't smell right, so you're now a target.
8. Granted, you get a large bottle of coke. However, it's powdered and the authorities have your location... I wish for popcorn
9. The entire Known Space series by Larry Niven. *ANYTHING* written by Harlan Ellison, all-time king of speculative fiction "The Horus Heresy" series (various authors, all in the Warhammer 40k universe). Titan series by John Varley
10. Steam games I've enjoyed when not playing KSP: The Long Dark ($19.99), winter survival in the Canadian wilderness MirrorMoon EP (9.99), space-themed discovery and puzzles FRACT OSC (14.99), discovery missions in a world of music (world is reminiscent of Tron) Eidolon (15.00), survival and story-following in Pacific Northwest The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (19.99), First-person detective Sunless Sea (18.99), 2D discovery in a world beneath the surface (think Jules Verne meets Lovecraft) Or if you like Web-based games, I'd suggest looking at Fallen London. Same company that made Sunless Sea, this links into the same world, a virtual card game with good storylines. And free-to-play as well
11. Hmmm. Plot sounds familiar, but then again it's probably been visited by many authors over the years. Not what you're looking for, but in a similar vein is "The Second Earth" by Patrick Woodroffe...he's primarily an artist (and the illustrations in the book are definitely interesting), and the story is a re-telling of an older musical piece by David Greenslade (was then titled "The Pentateuch of the Cosmogony"). Worth a look if you can find a copy, been out of print for some time now. EDIT: found it here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Second-Earth-Pentateuch-Re-Told/dp/1850280436
12. Those last few were just plane wrong. "Flinging Kerbals"....I pray you at least wrote each victim a proper orbit-uary.
13. Granted, your name is now "Noah"; good luck with all the animal poop in the bottom of the boat! I wish for a longer summer
14. Again, Kerbals eat others' carrot sticks. zdlxckmkojf
