  1. Caves/geological features to explore on other planets/bodys.

  3. I understand scope completion is near - so core gameplay features will be completed - i was more hoping for a new perspective on what extra features they still want to add like the two examples i gave in the OP.

I certainly didnt refer or allude to the Stats = Expressions as useless or stupid, but as something that seems to "define" each kerbal, there is no gameplay mechanic or feature that is changed or affected by these stats - so in a sense they are actually useless until the feature is fleshed out into something more directly affecting gameplay.
  5. I think fleshing out the individual Kerbals would improve gameplay immensley. Selecting the right Kerbal for specific science missions would add something a bit extra to collecting Science. Maybe even some form of training - whereby for the long duration missions out to Duna and beyond, kerbals would need to spend a minimum of 6 weeks within Kerbins SOI, accumulated over two flights, before being able to progress out into the wider Solar System. In sandbox this would obviously be irelevant. Im loatjhe of any "leveling" type system for each Kerbal, think of it more as seasoning....or a limited form of experiencce gain fior that Kerbal.
  6. Hey guys, So ive had Kerbal for over a year now and have 300ish hours logged. I'll also put a disclaimer here that im not suggesting features, content, time frames or anything of the sort, and understand 100% the game is in Development, Early Access, Alpha etc etc. We have 3 lists of what not to suggest, what has been suggested, and "planned features". I was wondering if the Dev's or someone in the know could answer this for me. With the growing list of features people would like, it seems like the true planned features for the game are starting to draw question marks. It would be great if the Dev's at this point of the development could maybe give an updated list of what they will still be putting into the game, what is questionable, and what is off for good. Two of the features i looked forward to the most when buying the game last year, was the Discovery/Observatory type mechanic, and interactive IVA's, however there have been no real offical word on either. Also on a side note - maybe split the suggestions forum into sub forums? For planets, Universe, Physics, Parts etc etc. Would make it a bit easier to look for a specific suggestion. Dan

  9. ^ yeah i think that would make regular flights less of a chore, more variation. I like where this could lead...
  10. i agree with this post. I find the challenge and satisfaction of constructing a meaningful station can suddenly cease when the station is complete. I would love it if you earn SOT with a space station. As for the crew mechanic, maybe you would have to maintain the SOT with 3/6/12 "monthly" crew rotation system. If you missed a particular launch window - the SOT would stop until the replacement crew was aboard.

  12. I can see both sides of the coin. While i like the idea of selectable AI, its not true to what KSP is, and doesn't really mirror the spirit and collaboration that exists today.

  14. Im still curious if SQUAD are going to add in a discovery/observatory mechanic for planets. Also is it possible to implement cave and/or lava tube features on the likes of Mun and Duna.
  15. Someone mentioned features on the planets themselves? Caves, rivers etc. i would like that alot. Interesting caves and such to explore. (And build for) would be awesome. Imagine the cave systems that must exist on mars...
  16. Maybe he just decided he had enough, got over it, had a kid etc etc. Or he has varied hobbies, i mean a love KSP and gaming in general, but my biggest hobby is modifying cars which others can attest too, can steal all the time, money and sanity if a project is in full swing.

  19. Hopefully career mode will still receive a good amount of attention, what with multiplayer now in the works...
