  1. x 3 for alpha testing man. Can run base conversion, KSP and test with mods.
  2. i played for 200 + hrs before i worked up the motivaton to actually nail it. Changed the game for me.

  4. From what i understand - you can stand on a major asteroid in the main belt and you'll be lucky if you hit another let alone see its neighbor. I wonder if they will ever add an Ort cloud......

  6. I usually take a few weeks or a month off. Sometimes i hit a brickwall so play something else or work on the car. Always come back though!

  9. Im going to agree with NASAFanboy here - under no circumstances should we be broadcasting our location, biology or anything like that into space. IMO it was far wiser to sit back and listen, and wait, and try to get the drop on "whoever" before they get the drop on us...
  10. I think Aggression and the Ability to Create, Make War, and Overcome challenges would be my favourite. a bit OT but i believe that if any Aliens were to meet/observe humanity, we would be forever doomed to be underestimated, which may not be a bad thing for us.

  13. As Maximus said - there isnt really a repair option, but if you were to use KAS you could at least carry spare solar panels, fuel lines, structs etc etc. Means if you do have an incident you could jimmy up something that may work!
  14. hmm i tested the new version last night and it appears i was still getting the collision at roughly 3km. i am using a ton of mods so it may be these.
  15. i agree - rather than the same tired threads about "why you no 64 bit Squad", this actually seems interesting and possibly something that could be integrated? (im not a programmer so i could be widely off). Would be nice if one of the devs was to at least look at it and comment whether its applicable to KSP in the near future, or something that will only benefit FPS games (which i think he's done this for)

  17. i would very much like to see a "bridge" style cockpit - you know just a scaled down version of what you would see on your stereotypical Space Battlecruiser. Also if these ships are going to be huge and require orbital assembly, some kind of Tug or similar would be excellent. Id love to see shipyard style construction at some point

This is probably the one game ive owned over the years - bearing in mind its not even 1.0 - that i not only find myself playing pretty much consistently, but i can actually plan meaningful builds while im not playing, and have maximum excitement about implementing and refining said builds. I mean you get your space flight sim (i use this term loosely), your rocket/plane builder, the attachment to kerbals, the pretty massive solar system. i didnt believe it existed when i was first told about KSP, but how was i wrong. Not to mention the amazing community - you dont get this kind of general humanity in 90% of other gaming/car forums. It also taught me more about Orbital Mechanics in the space of a few hours than any other source of information i had come across.
