  1. I like the KW style fixed fairings, i used procedural for a long time and whilst i have absolutley nothing against the mod, KW style fairings provided a more enjoyable challenge for me.
  2. These parts fit in perfectly for my E class asteroid station project.
  3. hmm you may not see the related parts due to it being career - id load a sandbox just to make sure that the parts are available in the VAB
  4. select a command pod in the VAB and "launch" it and set the frequency options to max and listen whilst it is on the pad and see if you can hear the effects. Also are you testing on a career save or sandbox?

  6. You need to put the part on the ship, then you will hear the sounds in the background
  7. Yup 0.23. Inside the gamedata folder there should be a folder with the chatterer files. You may also need the module manager .dll
  8. AFAIK you have to keep re-downloading updated versions of the Mod - installation is easy, you just extract the GameData folder into your KSP directory and click yes to merge the folders.   9. The firearm on board is for protection should the capsule land anywhere with hostile life forms aka bears wolves and maybe other humans. Just in case.
  10. i like these ideas - i really want the IVA to be expanded aswell, SO you can almost imerse yourself in the reality of space travel to say... The Mun or Duna. I fear stock IVA and such may fall by the wayside with gameplay things like Multiplayernow in development
  11. It does...the mission itself. Can you imagine the cpu load if the game was to create 100k small peebles per asteroid?

  14. i first got KSP running a Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 1GB GPU and it was limited on stock KSP to say the Least. Now have i7, 8GB RAM and 2GB GPU i can push the game to the limit, rather than my machine. As others have suggested an extra 2GB RAM stick would be the easiest and cheapest upgrade for net gain. The next step would be a new Mainboard, CPU, RAM - the works. Still an affordable option if you buy the componenets and assemble yourself. Its pretty straight forward and there are some excellent tutorials on youtube for this.

  16. As others have said - i always assumed you would get the cost (or a percentage of the cost) for recovered parts. I think restricting recovered parts to the KSC area biome would be a bit tedious though.
  17. i think expanding the current merchandising content a little could go a long way for Squad. I dont think charging for DLC should be picked up though. Ill be paying for any future DLC anyway since i bought after May 2013. Id defintley buy a hoody though.

  20. @Daemoria - That makes sense dude. I Have concepts in my head for a full on Battleship - Hence why i was intrigued for the whole shuttle concept - Having to use the shuttle to move Crew and materials planetside. Still - i think your mod is going to suit me just fine for part size and more importantly the type of aesthetic i want
  21. yes!!!!! made my day - this is exactly what im after. WIll you incorporate some form of joint weld system so we can make massive, yet low part count ships? @Green SKull - suits coming along nicley dude. The fit (in my mind) the vision thats being laid out.
