This mod looks SO COOL! Now I'm super excited for the 1.0 update!

Inquiry: Do the docking ports still work even if the Adaptive Docking Node plugin thing is still .90? I would really like to see some steamy Active on Passive action in my career save.

Space elevators aren't that cool, and not kerbal enough (never thought I'd say that). I would rather have stuff get launched into space with a giant cannon or a big laser thing.

Realchutes is probably what you want. The guy changed the parachutes so that they are totally customizable, size and material and everything, and it also has inline parachutes. Go forth, and try out realchutes!

In my opinion, I don't like space elevators. Mostly for the reasons presented here. In my opinion, gathered from spending too much time on the Atomic Rockets website, either we could use laser launch things or orbital airships. The neat thing about the laser launch things is that you can have a large, expensive power plant that can have its power diverted to powering a city or something when it's not beaming stuff up (hah get it?). Maybe I should have made the title "Alternative Launch Systems" or something.

I don't know if it's just me, but I get depressed when I read about space elevator and similar concepts because the first part is really neat and shows how useful it would be, and then you read about the limitations and how much it won't happen in this century, then it hits you like a rotating skyhook. So maybe this thread could be about space elevators and similar concepts like orbital airships and floating launch points in the sky.

I like all of them, but I really like the explorer in particular. It's just super neat how you use the big ASAS for the "Prop" guard.

I'm pretty sure with that much money you could build a few huge ships with comfortable housing for 40 and has artificial gravity in it that could do a tour of Mars, Saturn, Venus and return in a single tank. That may be an understatement.

One time I made an Orion inspired ship (For some reason the launcher looked somewhat like a Falcon Heavy) and on return to Kerbin I tried to decouple the service module but it got stuck. And then the whole thing just spun around like crazy. I think the decoupling sequence accidentally because the little escape system I stuck in it (Any allegations that I used part clipping will resulting in a firm angry glare.) Also. If you search through my started threads you will see my horrible attempt at making fairings that ended with something horrible.
