Ender's Game? Doesn't take you particularly far into space, but I still found it a good read.

Rush 2 and Rush 2049 on the N64. Couldn't imagine my childhood without them. 2049 especially. How many racing games has a battle mode that mounts missile launchers and machine guns on your sports cars?

I found my new desktop wallpaper.

The company that manufactures struts on Kerbin could probably buy a few continents.

How Did You Name Your Space Company/Corporation/Industry?
Joshington replied to orangexception's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I have two: JSO (Joshington Space Organization) and J-Tech. J-Tech builds rovers and satellites and other small things while JSO builds colony ships and space stations. -
Me: Hey, people are replying to my thread! *looks at replies* Me: Welp...That escalated quickly.
-
Shock and Awe. Build an indestructible fleet, send it to Bop, land an army of kerbals around the Kraken corpse, and dare it to strike again.
-
I send all the pieces together, then rearrange them in orbit. I did a thread about my design in the Space Exchange.
-
I made a Mun Colony that weighs 66 tons and carries 27 kerbals at once. But it's a bit tricky landing because it's so big and I have to use one Poodle engine or else I burn too much fuel at once.

J-Tech AT-BT Mk.2 AT-BT stands for All Terrain-Buggy Transport. It is designed to take a kerbal through any sort of terrain, perferrably in an atmosphere. The Mk.2 model is the upgrade from the Mk.1, with parachutes for the atmosphere, of Duna, Eve or Laythe, and has landing struts on the bottom which, when deployed, makes the front end come closer to the ground, making it easier for the kerbal to board it(doesn't work on Eve). I've tested it on Kerbin, Mun, Eve, Laythe and Duna. I don't recommend making sharp turns on the Mun or Duna, it flips very easily, but it works on planets with heavier atmospheres, such as Kerbin and Eve.I've dropped it from the atmosphere on Duna (around 15 m/s fully deployed parachutes) and Eve (around 6 m/s). Both times you might have to get out and repair the wheels, as they take the fall for the rest of the craft. It has a small docking port at the back, but I haven't made any use for it yet(mabye transport wagon for other kerbals) It can reach speeds up to over 20 m/s on flat surfaces, making it excellent for scouting and reconaissance. NOTE: While testing on Laythe going down hill somewhere at 40 m/s, and the two front wheels collided and sent the whole rover spinning in the air. It was decapitated when it reached the ground. Proceed with caution when reaching extreme speeds. Craft File: http://www./download/xwsi2slxbfapwlt/J-Tech_AT-BT_Mk_2.craft Command Keys: 1) Toggle front lights 2) Toggle back lights 3) Extend antennae G) Toggle landing struts Company Name: J-Tech Allegiance: Neutral, will do business with either company. UPDATE: J-Tech AT-BT Mk.3 The Mk.3 comes equipped with an extra parachute and ladders, since the landing struts barely made a difference anyway and would break easily. My first attempt to drive a rover on the Mun: ...Yeah I'm sticking to Duna and Eve. -

What's all that debris on the road? -
"space station kit" Why couldn't I think of that when I created this thread? Maybe 1-3 minutes for each arm. And the probe is right below the ASAS, near the top.

This is something that's been bugging me since I started playing KSP a few months back: What if the space race never ended? Like say, we got to the moon, and Richard Nixon said "Yeah good job guys, now you have until the end of the next decade to get to Mars. Have fun!" and then we got to Mars. Then the next president said "Alright, that's cool and all, but let's get a colony up and running." So we set up a colony on the moon. Then the next president...well, you get the picture. Where do you think we would be in space by now if we continually kept on advancing in the space industry?

Got a satellite into orbit around Eeloo today. I was lucky enough to catch it when it was intersecting with Jool. Took me a ridiculous amount of fuel to get me there though, then there was a 20+ minute burn to get it into orbit, but it was worth it. Now for Moho...

What are some things men could do on the surface of mars?

Play Rock Paper Scissors, I Spy, 20 Questions, a lot of things. -
I'm pretty sure that's normal if your warping very fast close to a planet. I think I remember frame rate dropping while going to the Mun, or even in Kerbin orbit.
-
From what I've heard it isn't coming out for a week or two, so I'm probably gonna keep playing normally for a week and then wait it out.

Sorry if the title was confusing, it was the best thing I could come up with. I don't know how to dock, but still want to get a station into orbit around Kerbin, so instead of looking up a tutorial online like any sensible person, I ended up creating this: The section in the middle is the main part. The four attachments(or "arms") carry the solar panels and dock at the bottom. It essentially carries all of the pieces of the station into space in one trip. Although I have yet to actually do it without hyper edit. This is it once it's in orbit (Sorry if hard to see)The final engine has boosters so I don't have to worry about bumping into it when I start arranging the arms. Docking first arm Moving the second arm into place. The arms are tricky to maneuver at first, but it's fairly simple once you ge tthe hang of it. The arms' supply of RCS can be shot away with a command key once it's docked and isn't needed anymore. Fully deployed. Not the prettiest thing to orbit Kerbin, but it works. Craft File if you want to try it yourself: http://www./download/xame9vbi1gimlmu/JSS_Kerbin_Space_Station_Mk_2.craft Command Keys: 1,2,3,4 in the order the staging is in. Meaning the first arm is 1, the second is 2, third is 3 and fourth is 4.

Do you have satellites in low orbit? Do you look online? Do you find them on accident(like me)?
-
No, but that was because I didn't discover him until I had the mechanics of the game down.
-
I'm mostly just waiting for it to hit. Don't want to do anything important that the patch will break anyway.
