The sheer idiocy (actually it's not their fault that no educational system anywhere teaches much about spaceflight) of people really frustrates me. Until recently, my dad thought there was only one Space Shuttle (that's not the worst offense by far) What really, really annoys me is when people said "We're wasting money sending the olympic torch into space!!!" when it was sent up as extra cargo, not on its own...

The problem is that some news websites have articles like this: Man hit by train articlestuffetc. Tags: train, tragedy, ... Then an ad pops up, and because the article has the tag "train", it tries to sell you train tickets...

I've made a very simple working one with the KSPX escape tower. EDIT: I, uh, added a parachute to the nosecone, and the shuttle re-entered backwards. And glided backwards. And landed safely. Engines first, cockpit last. Well, I guess the very small consolation is that it happened on a 3-person spacecraft, then they added measures to fix it. It would have been worse on the shuttle. At least NASA DID change the spacesuits etc. after the Apollo 1 accident. It would have been 1000 times worse if they hadn't, and more people had died...
