Plugin doesn't seem to work any more does anyone know any way to migrate mods easily without it? I modified my registry.json and installed-default.ckan files to have what I thought were all of the required changes to trick ckan into thinking it had installed modulemanager, and the first time I ran it it did recognize it as its own mod. However, when I let it update modulemanager to 2.6.6 it: deleted the 2.6.5 file, gave an error about dependencies I think, set version 2.6.6 as auto-detected, and refused to let me refresh my mod list until I manually installed 2.6.6. force-install options pretty-please? edit: turns out the command line ckan will let you install mods after deleting them, even if they have unhandled dependencies, so just delete the auto-detected mods, and reinstall them with the ckan command line and the ckan gui will usually recognize them

@Flakbat Have you forwarded the server port or are you both using any tunneling program like Hamachi or Tunngle? If not his connection might just be getting blocked

How do you spectate players consistently? I was playing with a friend and the only way I could spectate him launching was by parking a ship near the launch pad and switching vessels once he got synced. Whenever I try to pilot one of his ships from the map screen I hit the button and nothing happens, and all of the other vessels become locked too until I leave the tracking station and go back.

Ohh...? I don't understand that, but the solid boosters I had radially which I thought were causing the weird drag do have 4 engines, and after removing the it worked. I just assumed it was FAR's fault when the CoL started pointing sideways after I added the boosters. I don't understand why having 4 engines in a cluster would cause instability in symmetry mode, unless each engine had separate thrust and the game didn't rotate them properly to make it all balanced? Anyway the rockets are going upwards now with specifically 1 engine'd boosters, thanks for sharing that bit of information, sorry for blaming it on FAR.- 14,073 replies

Yeah, I know that much . But what I meant to say was that even though the parts are in symmetry mode the drag seems asymmetrical causing my rockets to turn on their own and start flipping. I've played with FAR for a while but I never noticed this until updating to 0.24. In my RO save I hardly leave the launchpad before the ship keels over because I have radially attached SRBs, and some life support containers attached to the pod.- 14,073 replies

Not totally sure if this is a bug or not but when I have parts attached radially to a rocket their drag mainly pulls the rocket to one side, making it very difficult to launch things straight without stacking them with reaction wheels. I've tried reinstalling FAR, verifying KSP file integrity through steam and removing all other mods (except for MM) but the problem persists, if it is in fact a problem and not something I just didn't notice in the past. Here's the BoulderCo.cfg: ACTIVE_TEXTURE_MANAGER_CONFIG { folder = BoulderCo enabled = true OVERRIDES { BoulderCo/(Clouds|Atmosphere)/.* { compress = true mipmaps = true scale = 1 max_size = 0 make_not_readable = false } } } Also I do have Texture Replacer, which has visor reflection and space textures in it. Removing the Texture Replacer folder from GameData didn't change it. -

For some reason all of the planets with volumetric clouds are constantly covered without any cloud variation. The cloud hexagons are well defined and every time I reach the edge of one, another spawns. Here's some example screenshots http://imgur.com/a/GoC9B. The screenshots in the album were taken with Better Atmospheres also installed but the problem persists without it. I've tried re-installing but that didn't work, any help would be appreciated. -
