I just had another KSP dream... A very silly one.
1D-1()T replied to Commissioner Tadpole's topic in KSP1 Discussion
The sad thing is, if I ever get the hang of lucid dreaming I'll probably just play ksp, but a bit in the future, after some features that can not be named are added. Edit: For the sake of being on topic, do you think that kerbin would break up and become the gas giants ring? -
Okay, so, @ Geschosskopf I know in the rules it says you can't add or subtract from the plane, but the way I see it this is so you don't just get some SRBs and a couple of wings and that kind of thing. Now, for my new attempt I'm going to increase the Duna Plane Mk4's (original name, I know) passenger capacity, but I don't really want to send a new one out. Do you mind if I send out some seats and (A)ttach them with the KAS thing? The way I see it is that at my eventual bases they will keep a seat for each kerbal, which can be attached to the plane as needed in case of emergency relocation.

An interesting issue...

Meh, with my accent either way sounds the same... -
How long have you been playing kerbal space program for?
1D-1()T replied to FlamingPotatoes's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I got it in .20 -
Hmm, I know what you're saying, but K+ would actually be kinda kool:sticktongue: But, more on topic, I doubt Squad could screw up KSP if they tried. Unless they sold out like Ace of Spades did. Which they wouldn't. Yeah, Squad is cool.

I know it isn't to impressive but....
1D-1()T replied to Stilgar2300's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Nah, I still think it's impressive, being able to send stuff to the Mün. Like, when I started I could barely make a rocket fly to 5000 meters. Then I made orbit. Then I landed on the Mün, and then Minmus. Then I docked. Then I landed on Eve, and Duna, and Ike. I entered Jool orbit. I look back at how far I've come, and how far there is to go. So you SHOULD be proud, because of how far you've come. -
Mine is simple, but effective. Orange Tank Mainsail Large Decoupler Orange Tank, with 8 radial orange tanks A mainsail on each of them And a sh*t load of struts.

The Kethane Travelling Circus 2, Episode 6: Off to JOOL!
1D-1()T replied to Geschosskopf's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
That's 31 launches, if you don't mind me saying. 18 + 8 + 2 +1 +1 +1 = 31 -
The Kethane Travelling Circus 2, Episode 6: Off to JOOL!
1D-1()T replied to Geschosskopf's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
30 LAUNCHES! You have more determination than I do. I would probably get about five modules into LKO, and then decide to just wing it to Jool. This has the potential to be an epic, so good work! -
That looks pretty perty...

I just had a cool idea. A KRAK KMP server. Imagine that. I have no expectation it will happen, but you know it seems the more we talk about it it only makes it worse to live without it +1 is you get the quote.

This is pretty cool. I've been thinking of making a hardcore save, looking at getting FAR, Deadly Re-entry and so on. I think I'll be using these rules as well. Should be !FUN!

How about a new thread with a poll? Have a vote?

The Kethane Travelling Circus 2, Episode 6: Off to JOOL!
1D-1()T replied to Geschosskopf's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Nice to see this back up and running. I think I too will have do do some stuff in the Jool system, all I've really sent there so far is probes. -
That is one good looking truck...
-
I am EXCITED! It's great we are getting Kethane.
-
It does sound like a great idea. It's being done by the people who made/are making MinecraftEdu, which seems well received. they don't have a site that I could find, but here http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/10/30/kerbaledu-launches-to-bring-kerbal-space-program-to-more-classrooms/ is a PCGamer article on it.

To celebrate you should fetch some special celebratory cake from the north pole (it's what Kanta feeds the elves)

Oh, whoops, didn't notice that ALL the kerbals needed to be inside for the extra point. Sorry. Not sure quite what you mean by 'lands like an albatross', but if you apply the brakes to heavily it is prone to either going onto the front wheel or flipping. One feature that I really like is I set up an action group to put the motors in reverse, so I can land in a much shorter distance. I also use it to slow to a stop once I have landed. Also, how to I put the patch in my sig? Edit: Just looked up how an albatross lands, and yes, I kill most of my speed a meter or so up, and just pancake land, hopefully without going splat.

http://imgur.com/a/hK1Mz#0 That is an album of my plane. Like yours Geschosskopf, it is a hybrid, and uses the firespitter electric props. It is capable of infinite flight in daylight. The tally +1 - Can carry 3 Kerbals +1 - One of them is inside +1 - Circumnavigation That comes to three points, I believe. It can make over 6000, but only for a few minutes. By the way, there is another way to get them off Kerbin, launch them backwards Thanks for a great challenge

I gotta say I love Rodwell Kerman. Haven't found him yet on my new save

Rendezvousing with debris
1D-1()T replied to ScottyDoesKnow's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
What you do is go to the map view while piloting, and move your mouse up to the top of the game screen. A thing should fold down, with icons on it. This controls what shows up. The one furthest to the left is the Debris icon. Right click on it, and it should show you debris. If you left click it will only show you debris, so don't do that, or if you do, right click on each icon, toggling them back on.
