Sometimes the symethry mode is bugded and you place one more part on one sight at the same place. and after it happend you cant reset the symethry mode Normal -> .|. bugded -> .|: -

There is no intake spam, only the 4 you can see. The normal Version has a part count of 186 and the VTOL one 195 Here are the craft files: X-11 698.craft X-11 698 VTOL.craft and thanks all for the reactions, makes me very proud /Edit updated also the op with the .crafts

It fly's great, like every plane you build. I think the rear part - engine section - is to thin, or the main wings are too big. The proportions do not fit in my opinion. But anyway, the best stock F-15 i see in KSP

ok, maybe i found the "bug" it looks like the new decoupler provides a significant power hit on the engine from the third stage. And if the paylaod is over ~25 tones and you're under 40k meters, the drag + the punch from the decoupler breaks the connection between the fuel tank and the engine from the third stage. ~edit~ ok it's definitely the decoupler of the third stage. The problem is the decoupler provites for the bottom connection a not solid joint and its all the time "wobbly". If you trigger the decoupler, it's in the most times canted and the decouple force breaks the joint from the engine.
