Best way to get close to the sun?

TBH, I think you might want to try and go up first, depending on how low you want to go. If your Apoapsis is higher, then it will take less Delta V to lower the Periapsis, Although it will take quite a bit more than what you are used to to get into the desired orbit. -

Persist: http://www./download/562gqjjoz6ejfs6/persistent.sfs The Knight of the Round fleet moved into position over Duna for combat, with the Icaruga Class Bizmark, and the Icaruga Class Suzaku moving into the battlezone. Burai Classes Gino and Anya moved into a 100km orbit to act as a Reinforcement group. The Bizmark Fired two SMS class missiles at the ACC - Naver, the first removed one engine, the second only scratched the armour plating of the Naver, and caused no visible damage. 1st turn completed for the Black Knights. EDIT: I am simply trying to write this like a mission report, sorry if it is too close to RP. EDIT EDIT: Updated avatar to company flag. Also, if you are interested in the naming scheme, I have named everything after the characters, mechs and groups featured in the popular anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. -

Yes, Smart Missiles are ok. You should see my Icaruga. Literally, all smart missiles, no dumb fire missiles, at all! -

How does 200 tonnes sound, and no, I don't think any special rules are necessary. Can you setup though? EDIT: I think 'round 4-5 ships should be fine for that weight limit. EDIT EDIT: I hope your ships aren't too part-heavy, about 300 parts should be fine, if they are at a distance. -

As far as I am aware, the mod adds a new gametype, meaning you may need to start a new save. However, I am not too sure though, having only found out about it yesterday. -

Sorry daemon, but I cant right now. I will look into that mod, but it seems pretty unstable, and I am not sure how my cpu would handle it, being a psuedo-Quad core. (Quad core with two spinning cores or something, according to the manufacturer) EDIT: funnilly enough I am in english right now, but I have nothing to do with exams the week after next so I am just sitting here, watching and posting on this thread. -

Corgi, how are we going to do planes and missiles? are we having boats? tanks? I only have my Gekka for atmospheric fighting, though I could whip up a boat or a tank or two if you give me some time. I am at school right now, so I will be a couple of hours for actually taking my turn. However I can work on craft for fighting if I can get some free time at interval/lunch. -

corgi, I will fight you if you want. I wont use the multiplayer mods though, simply because I cant. Set up the persistence file, and when I get home I will set up with my Burai's and Icaruga's, and take a turn, then send you the persist back. So. where are we fighting? Vall? Gilly? Interstellar Space? -

Sorry for taking so long to reply, had to write an essay for English homework. @Spartwo Hah! I wondered if that was possible! @Camulus777 You said you had a joystick in the video!? Also, yeah, I see the family resemblance . -

Just checked your vid. Nice, that Nosferatu is pretty similar to my Gekka, but the important question is this: Does yours have 6 missiles? Or even a place for them?? Still though, that was an epic design. Funnily enough, they handle pretty much the same, despite the lower mass of the Gekka, though I am using WASD, not a joystick. I took my main inspiration from the Harrier Jump Jet, and it uses the TurboJet because it is more powerful. (Not to mention more efficient at altitude.) -

@camulus IDK what those are so I cant say, really. It only has one fuel tank, though, for stability during fuel drain. That other section in front is a structural fuselage. -

I guess it could go either way. I have never used the soviet pack, though.

When I get home and post my VTOL, you can reverse engineer it from there. It has 6 very powerful, and very light missiles.
