  1. Build two stations ,not far apart,(maybe on the mun) and connect them visa some sort of rail transport system. Which kept me occupied for the last few days and still does. Launch a rocket from the easteregg-KSC. That was much fun as well. I must say, I also suffer a bit from that `been-there-done-that`syndrome. But from time to time a new idea springs into mind. And the stupid ones are the best
  2. Of course, I would love to have a few more planets, moons, comets etc to visit. And I´m guessing the devs would love that, too. I mean, it would be awesome obviously. So they must have good reason/s to not implement them now. Pure speculation, but it would be nonsense to create new bodys, if you´re planning to change/improve the appearance or the groundwork, which celestial bodys are based upon. I personally would kiss the feet of that guy, who puts an saturnish planet into the stock game. And at least one moon around it (just imagine the view of an ascending "saturn"! sigh). But IMO it really should have rings around it. Or maybe just one ring. Even a simple one. I´m surely not a programmer, so I don´t know how that would be done best. Some sort of a ring shaped volumetric cloud with groundscatter (better ringscatter) in it would be more than fine by me. Maybe parts of your ship explode when you fly through it, to simulate impacts, but that´s just dreamstuff by now, because we´re not even having clouds yet. I can´t think of any reasons why they would say "we don´t want more planets!", but quite some reasons why they say "not right now, there are other priorities first". If it can be done properly, I bet they´ll do it at some point.
  3. Good Idea. Since the game has a pretty good idea, what the duration of the burn will be (most of the time ), maybe it could stop the warp a reasonable time before that. Question is: Only for the craft you are flying at the moment, or for every flight in progress?
  4. I LOVE that series, and that is a really sweet firefly. + 1 good sir
  5. Hey, my workaround suggestion: The upper decouplers activate one stage after the booster-ejection. Advantage: decouplers are a bit lighter than modular girder segments and can be ejected.
  6. jep, that´s why pol is my favorite I think there are more bodys with terrain scatter, than without.
  7. Looks like a radial attached cockpit. Which would be VERY cool.
  8. ok, I lied. I wasn´t curious, I was cautiously excited. If it´s possible... wow.
  9. would this also be visible? like heat shield tiles on the underside of the wing? just curious.
  10. I´m sorry, that some people still have problems with the download, but I have to be cruel and say: I´m playing 0.24 for 2 hours now, and I am pretty impressed. Just finished my 5 th flight and first orbit. Congratulations Squad, you added a lot more depth into the game and IMO solved the early science grind. And I think I am fairly good at this game, but meeting the conditions for that one little test-contract is challanging. -> I love it
  11. same here. maybe something to do with our location? EDIT: The download is running right now. I´m gonna be sooo overnighted tomorrow. Couldn´t sleep anyway Have Fun Folks!
  12. OK, Squad, here´s some sort of Pizza for you. you earned it
  13. If you guys pull this off, you'll be the heroes of the day. Now I regret that I never learned spanish and don have a credit card. So I can't help much other than whoop you.
  14. Ok, with 0.24 not coming out tonight, I could try something I always wanted to test. Remember the old youtube series from HOCgaming about artificial gravity? That. So I threw together the AGRO (Artificial Gravity Research Orbiter). I´m bad at acronyms. I remembered, that it´s important to put it into Keo-synchronous orbit. Not a big deal. What I didn´t remember is, that Kerbals can´t stand up in the ring. Sadly they are just ragdolling. So back to the drawing board and add 2 little rovers. Return to space... ok, it works, but the camera is going nuts. That´s no fun! Well, back to the VAB again, I downloaded the kerbcam mod, put some on the rovers, and now: I´ve got a go-cart track in Space Mods used: Spaceplane+ A big THANK YOU to HOCgaming for the great idea
  15. This is very interesting. Is there any information / educated guesses what this new physics-engine would improve / make possible in Ksp?
  16. The first thing I do after entering the SPH is alt-f12 enable part-clipping. I just like my crafts pretty. And like most people here, I set myself some restrictions. Like no engine-clipping and so on. To be fair, nobody ever complained.
  17. A good friend of mine studies psychology. She watched me reading the dev-notes last week, mumbled something of "addictive behaviour" and left the room headshaking... And reading some comments on the forum lately I'm not the worst case.
  18. this game is squads baby. ergo they can call it whatever they like. And if they say "this game isn't finished yet", then I assume, that they have something on their minds, what the finished game will look like and how to get there. not every step may be superexiting, but in the end it will pay off. They did a pretty amazing job so far, so why not trust them a bit?
  19. thx for the flowers :)

  20. Ok, this feature falls into the "not urgently needed, but would be damn cool to have" category. And a testtrack could maybe contain some sort of crane, so you could teather up your rovers and simulate different gravity settings.... We can dream....
