Dragon, Felbourn who does the Project Gateway and Project Odyssey videos (see my sig for a link) has recently worked on an RSS version for his own use and it kind of works.

PorkWorks dev thread [Habitat Pack] [SpaceplanePlus]
Sochin replied to Porkjet's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Porkjet the X30 project pics from the 90's and recent post showing the SR72 are exactly what I was on about regarding intakes that would massively cool with your mod. -
Eyes Turned Skywards UPDATE now with Signup Sheet
Sochin replied to NathanKell's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Very interesting project, looking at the source post that dates back 3 years. -
That is really nice, what would be fantastic is if you have a massive flag on the tank nose cone.
-
Would people asking for alternate textures please sitdown, smile, have a coke and STFU (thankyou Richard Prior for that phrase) just incase we do get a fuchsia and gold version rather than the boeingalike texture.
-
Porkjet sorry I wasn't as clear as I could be. What I was meaning is a Concorde like intake and engine part that mimics a Rapier / Sabre engine unit. It would look real good with your craft parts.
-
Nice work, would there be any chance of making engines like Concordes?
-
Comming along real nice.
-
Nice one Bob.
-
If I remember correctly there is one with LLL lack luster labs.
-
I have used it in 23.5 and it works fine.
-
Its exactly how I thought it would look

Multiple launchpads?
Sochin replied to TechnicalK3rbal's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I like the idea of possible multiple launch sites, however, a thought crossed my mind. Is it really safe to have the lowest bidder build and launch your rocket in KSP? -

parts [1.10.x] SDHI Service Module System (V4.0.4 / 11 October 2020)
Sochin replied to sumghai's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Cracking work as usual, I believe those panels are AIES. Sumghai is there any chance of a more powerfull engine for the capsule? -
Something I found while playing around with the KSO. On a few missions I added two more vertical stabilisers ontop of the wings between the elevator and flap and it cuts out a lot of ocilation and buffet (I play with FAR aswell) plus doesn't seem to affect the glide charachteristics of the KSO. Are you looking at making an uprated booster?
-
My thoughts, as you stated when you first mentioned about the your design ideas for the Jumbo KSO was that it was going to be a bigger version of the KSO with C17 elements, awesome:D. Looking at a C17 would it be better to make the nose a more obtuse angle, that way it fits a C17 better and its enough of a difference with the KSO for variation. Also it would give more area for the cockpit that could either be used for more storage or you could extend the cargo bay further forward?

Sent you an message with a link Dragon.

In Scott Manleys video did you notice all the shuttle models behind Chad, is this related to any further future developments?

Skylon may fly this year, first SSTO spaceplane?
Sochin replied to Naten's topic in Science & Spaceflight
REL is not a couple of people in a shed actually go and look at them rather than listening to hearsay. They have been working on the Skylon project since 1989 and specifically formed to do that project. Examples of Timescales: Spaceship One 9 years 1994 - Burt Rutan went on to say that it took around 3 years full time development to get the programme to winning the X Prize. Spaceship Two 3 years to first glide test. So if Burt Rutan's Scalled Composites can do it from his small base (smaller than REL) why can't they, I would hardly call it a matter of stupidity on my part thinking otherwise.
