The kracken takes out your engines and you only make it into Jool orbit with aerobraking and to raise your Pe you use all your RCS with no rcs and your Ap at Laythe's height you must rely on luck to get a Laytje encounter that will peform an emergency landing. Ive tested this for weapons research aka extremely cheap kinetic warheads and while in orbit testing they flew past the 100km at which you can see there nav marker and were on an escape from kerbol. While in atmo they got up to speeds of nearly 3.5km/s but the soup like atmosphere slowed them down while below 35km.
Since 23.5 we've had the 1.25m LES which has been great but we also need one for the Mk1 Command Pod as the current one is to big and custom ones have a lot of parts.
You know this is forbidden right and they wont give a release date because they usually en up having to push it back to fix bugs. KSP isnt ready for 1.0 anyway not till stable 64bit and mutiplayer. Next update parts will make it next to impossible to just have B9 installed let alone all its dependencies and there is no gameplay without mods. KSP will get ripped when it is released.
As i said in another thread: How about a skipper or mainsail stage for landing and nuke stage for ascent. This is for tylo obviously. Disclaimer: ive never been to tylo or eve, infact im one of the lucky people who hasnt gotten a tylo encounter on jool soi
Just asking but for landing on Tylo could you not just use a skipper stage for descent and a nuke stage for ascent? Disclaimer: ive never landed on TYLO;.; or laythe, moho, eve, ike, vall, pol, bop, eeloo or dres.
