Nitrogen makes up about 3.5% of Venus' air. As for CO2, imagine how long it might take to pump and haul the amount of CO2 that might bulk up Mars' air; and the cost? Also, this would transform Mars into a place from near vacuum for air into one with choking deadly air. Think of it in terms of cold, deadly air at Mars instead of practically none. I do not see the advantage, as Venus would still possess a high pressure, hot choking atmosphere even if a Mars air bulking were successful. As for Mars, perhaps you are thinking of the CO2 as an intermediate situation; using it to feed oxygen producing algae? It only took about 2 billion years for Earth's air to become "oxygenated". Even with Mars' lower mass/ size, it would require a very long time to accomplish, especially since it would resemble a snowball earth rather than the one we are familiar with, due to its distance from the sun.

... for a NASA workbench in MineCraft: In KSP, all we have to do is assemble preexisting parts.

Tried out my "rollver". <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7376/12843375615_7bb645f660_b.jpg" width="1024" height="640" alt="rolverCombo"> <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3752/12843446723_a857c2991f_b.jpg" width="1024" height="640" alt="rolverLander"> <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/4/3788/12843453373_0f59422ae8_b.jpg" width="1024" height="640" alt="rolver"> <img src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7434/12843369045_aea159af08_b.jpg" width="1024" height="640" alt="rollRolver"> As for the rest of the test, I'll say that it held up better than my regular rovers did.

A few suggestions:
Dispatcher replied to Krupski's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
This feature would be nice, if Squad could pull it off. You've mentioned one of the major roadblocks to implementing such a thing. That could be gotten around by bloating the stock game with a 'registry of mod parts', which would consist of data on mod models, textures and sounds. That's a real drawback. However, the idea of such recordings is nice, as the recordings are played back in game and take up much less file size than videos. Examples of such games are Bungie's Marathon trilogy (starting mid 1990's); Myth series (around 2000 or so), which allowed viewing the same recording with a camera that you controlled during playback (pan, zoom, orbit, rotate, track, etc.), as well as alternate views (so you could replay it and watch things from other views than just the first playback) ... and built on this foundation of course, Halo. I think Bungie's approach was to capture data as you suggested, plus keyboard/ mouse input. Back in the day, there was of lot of sharing of those recording files. I'm sure there are other games which do this. Such an implementation would create a big demand for KSP recording files, I'm sure. -
Rover Proving Ground at KSC

The suggestion is good, since right now I must drive a long way to test a rover on varied terrain. -

Explain Science Like I am 5 Please.

Sure, but some players will assume that the reset follows storing the data in the craft. Its not difficult for Squad to add clarity to process. Maybe their new tutorial(s) will do just that. -

I was using those as well, except that I was trying to max the number of Kerbals I could get into orbit as well, so I began excluding the lab. I'll be taking the labs back up while reducing the number of Kerbals I take up next. -

Yes, the above seems right. I found out the hard way about resetting the sample containers (a simple warning that the data will be lost if reset would be nice). Actually I was half way through the tech tree when I figured that out, since I had taken so many units with me. I made the mistake also of assigning action groups to science units; you should do each experiment individually, at different locations. Also, there are times when you return your Kerbal from EVA to the craft, that you will only be given the option of dropping the samples/ data to go inside or to cancel going inside, because it cannot hold more samples or data; thus leaving your Kerbal outside with no way to get the data home. Science is set up so that you get ever diminishing marginal returns, unless you do not reuse a unit and unless you are at a place (biome, planet, moon, etc.) that you have not ever been before. -
Hehe! And no more tides on Earth.

You need to insert a set of points on each line of the mesh where you want to break it, with the idea of deleting the (short) lines between those inserted points. I've not found a way of subtractive intersecting which does the same thing in Blender, but my skills are rather basic so someone else might know how to do it. I've had more success with making the separate parts and joining them. I'm sure someone else can give you better information but consider this preliminary stuff.

Hi, this may have been dealt with in the past but I found nothing on it. It would be nice to be able to tentatively plan a mission before launching, by accessing the maneuver node system from the KSC command center or tracking station or such. We could plug in basic Kerbin orbital parameters and get an idea of whether or not we have a reasonable launch window prior to launching the craft. Just an idea. Thanks!

Ceres is a minor planet; similar to Pluto. It is largely an ice body, not like most objects in the asteroid belt. So mining of it, per se, would not be profitable, unless you want to haul its water to another location. Vesta is the largest known asteroid, in terms of composition.
