KSP2 Release Notes

The main module has been launched using a pretty heavy rocket with three KR-2L engines and three liquid fuel boosters. Docking was surprisingly easy. Aligning was not even tried. This was all done without Kerbals. The most important thing was to join the parts into one vessel. Next launch will bring up the propulsion module, and then the ship will autonomously dock with it.
-
First piece of the ship is in orbit - Kerpernicus lander attached to the main shield. It's waiting in equatorial orbit at roughly 164 km.

The little Speeder - atmospheric entry in a seat.

This is very cute. -
[1.12.x] DeepFreeze (v0.31.0) 12th Sep 2021
lajoswinkler replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh yay, I'm so glad this project has moved forward. I've been using the old version together with TAC and it really adds a nice level of realism and immersion into the game. So basically I can now launch my ship, do the burns, freeze the crew, exit to the main menu and then return and there will be no issues upon thawing. That's good to know. One question: will the new versions break vessels in orbit? -
Oh wow, what a great toy.

I got to the thirteenth level and now I'm stuck. Help a brother.
-
Yes, I know. It's not in orbit yet. This propulsion unit is more massive than the one built for Kron 3 and if I don't succeed in launching it filled with fuel, I will launch it with less of it. I've stopped relying on asparagus launchers and instead I build classical huge stages.

11of10, a ja sam mislio da je mojih 1700 h KSP-a puno.

Just put the link into Google Translate. It won't do a magnificent job, but it's a start.

Ah, tradicija.

Helpful hint - desaturate your lunar photographs. The Moon is gray so if you desaturate it, you lose the ugly chromatic abberations. Good job, everyone.

In my not so humble opinion, this is an underrated game with only 3.7 points scored on Google Play, but deserves at least 4.2. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.saterskog.cell_lab&attachment_canonical_url=https%3A%2F%2Fplay.google .com%2Fstore%2Fapps%2Fdetails%3Fid%3Dcom.saterskog .cell_lab Game author is Petter Säterskog. It's a quite difficult one, I must admit. I've been playing it for months now. It requires thinking on several levels at once and everything you do induces changes to the point of chaos. Try it out, you won't regret it.

Actually it's really not a small save in space, especially when you run lots of mods. These textures seem very nice, but I'd like to delete the originals and digging through TAC folder doesn't seem appealing.

Why is the fuel conduit folder so huge? Several megabytes for a stupid little pipe. -
Can I get Science from falling down stairs?

Oh, the fun we had with this... -
The ship is basically finished and sits waiting until DeepFreeze - TAC issues are resolved. There is no centrifuge involved. Kron 3 almost broke in half during aerobraking so some lessons are learned. Current part count is decent and I don't want more parts. Some stats: - length 47.4 m - diameter without antennas 8.6 m - mass 675.7 t - number of parts 246 - initial delta v 13021 m/s (there's more after some parts are left behind)

Very, very sad. At least the authorities could clean them up and put them in a museum. This is very bad.

The 2nd brightest object in the night sky?
lajoswinkler replied to Oafman's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Sirius is the brightest star in the sky and we (people living on northern hemisphere) can't see it now. Venus is much brighter than Sirius. -
Oh, I usually call them interstellar or lonely planets. Now I get it, thx.
-
Can you explain what is a "rogue planet"?

It was a true Korean unicorn that was present at the birth of eternal leader of DPRK, Kim Il-sung. Show some respect.
