  1. I've deleted old_ScienceDefs.cfg and the game worked fine when I clicked on the Launchpad. Unfortunately, it crashes if I try to access the Launchpad through VAB (by clicking on that little green rocket). So, here is the current KSP.log as usual (sorry to bother you with this): http://www.filedropper.com/ksp_2 Ah! I did these tests with error.wav back on it its place, ok?
  2. Yes, this is the entirety of the log (I deleted the old log just before trying, to keep it small and save you some work). I deleted the error.wav file and voilà: it worked! Showing icon on the very first try and all! Unfortunately, I tried one more time (this time going directly to VAB and hitting launch) and the game crashed... From this moment onward, the game returned to its previous crashing behavior... Here is the new KSP.log: http://www.filedropper.com/ksp_1 Anyway, can you explain me what is going on? Shouldn't error.wav be loaded? And why didn't other people have this problem?
  3. OK! This file I've found! I deleted it and the ran the game trying to launch a rocket from VAB. As expected, the game crashed. Since the log is almost 200KB, I'll try to send it to you through a private message. Ok? EDIT: I can't paste files that big and I am not allowed to attach them. So here is one temporary link to it, ok? http://www.filedropper.com/ksp
  4. I asked about the toolbar because once ScienceAlert icon appears (BTW, I just can't make it appear lately) it seems to work fine... Since I use Linux, isn't there any clue on how to find these logs? BTW, what's MM?
  5. Maybe it's an incompatibility with Blizzy's Toolbar? Anyway, for now I removed the plugin so I can play... I hope version 1.6 fixes this error.
  6. Sorry, although this time I've found the folder, I can't find none of these files (output_log.txt nor player.log). EDIT: I use Steam version under Linux and it works fine without ScientAlert (I've just tested it). Is there any hope for me, doc?
  7. What a shame! It happened twice, but now I just can't do it again... EDIT: Once again, some hope: it seems that to avoid crashing I have to access Launchpad by clicking directly on it and selecting a rocket (no icon this time), return to KSC and once again go to Launchpad directly, avoid clearing the pad by using the same rocket previously chosen (this time the icon is shown). From this point on, it seems to me the game runs fine without crashes...
  8. Sorry, but where can I find this file? About the Biome Overlay mod: GREAT SCOTT! EDIT: I have good (or bad, I don't know) news: if I access the Launchpad by directly clicking on it, the games doesn't crash, and after that, I can go to Launchpad directly from VAB without a problem...
  9. GREAT IDEA! Unfortunately, I barely used it because I'm having problems... Using version 1.5 and Blizzy's Toolbar 1.7.1, the game keeps crashing to desktop when I try to go to the launchpad. When I succeed (did it twice but, until now, I can't pinpoint how I managed that), I get no icon only a caption on the "Configure Visible Buttons" option. After it happens, when I get back to KSC and go to the launchpad the icon is correctly shown and the plugins seems to work fine. What can I do to fix it?
  10. Hello, sorry if this has been already answered, but how do we know a mod (say KAS or ScanSat) has been updated? Do we have to check them one by one?
  11. What's the name of the mod that showed those data on bottom left?
  12. Hello, great plugin, thanks! I second the idea of windowed cameras (if possible, optional as virgil_182 pointed out). I've have some questions about Hullcam and L-Tech interaction, though... As I see, when both plugins are installed, L-Tech cameras get almost infinite zoom while Hullcam Science camera only has a few. I think all three should have the same amount of zoom levels because all of them are meant for science, don't you think?
  13. And how do we FORCE Steam to update our copies? Pray tell!
  14. Ah! I finally got to the last page! Where my 0.23 now? What? Nothing?
  15. Sorry, make it four attempts! I mean the time I tried to run 2.6.4.2 to take this picture, it crashed three times when I clicked on my career savegame before it loaded. Don't know why, it loaded on the first attempt when I tried it before...
  16. Here you have two pictures, one for each version that did not crash (although this time it took me three attempts to run 2.6.4.2): 2.6.4.2 (note KAC icon): 2.6.4.4: What do you mean by "both attempts"? Versions 2.6.4.1 and 2.6.4.3? How do I get the log you need? Ah! And I tried the other mod to see if it worked but (and it did), but did not stick with it... I think I haven't used KSP enough to know what is the best option vanila or alternate... Maybe later...
  17. 2.6.4.1 - Crashed as expected... 2.6.4.2 - Kind of worked... It had corrupted images! 2.6.4.3 - Also crashed (much like version 2.6.4.1)... 2.6.4.4 - Worked JUST FINE! Of course, I've never used KAC before, so I'll have to test it further...
  18. Thanks for you prompt answer, Trigger Au! About your request, I have good and bad news... KSP went a little further: I could access my career mode game, even got to Space Center and VAB! I loaded a ship but when I clicked on LAUNCH, the game crashed again... Does starting the game through Steam make any difference?
  19. I'm also having problems with Kerbal Alarm Clock under Linux (64-bit). I once could run KSP on career mode using KAC. But I also got corrupted images. After that ONE time, I was not able to run it again. I even tried downgrading do older versions. I downgraded until 2.5 and had no success... What can I do?
