I think that the release date should be extended like a week and the MK2 and MK3 cockpit IVA should pop in. And yes I wonder if new animation will appear

Awesome thanks! I can get past our schools filter for youtube! This is the first news I've heard of any release date. I was just assuming that squad is quickly approaching the date hence the "release marathon" this means they are happy enough on their work to show it but still doing last minute tinkering. You guys should definitely update the MK2 and MK3 IVA last minute :3

Lolbster is in his next stream. He's going to put a kerbal in orbit, and attach ships on either side of it to play kerbal tug of war! Although I think you mean use it for like a train and stuff. THAT would be really cool. I'm building my next moon base like a train! Thanks for the idea!

Yes the Claw has a pivot! And you can toggle it off and on! When you grapple yourself onto the asteroid, the asteroid counts as a part of your ship and is named this. So if you want to name an asteroid, you'd nee to attach a probe to it and name the probe what you want the asteroid to be called. The asteroids I think come in a good range of size from barely movable to wackjob amounts of fuel needed Edit: FLAGS ON SHIPS?!?!?!?! TRACKING STATION TIME WARP?! BIGGER SRBS?!?! COLORED LIGHTS!?!?! (Although I saw the colored lights with lolbster )

I would usually put a speech here but, I frankly cannot put into words how much fun I have had in this game, how much fun you all bring to me, and how much fun I will continue to have as this game progresses. The inventor did so by blowing up himself in the experiment. 360: gunpowder is perfected, and a simple "gun" is crafted. They fired it at the ground, and found the kerbal lifted off the ground a meter. 361: gunpowder is discovered to have the ability launch itself into the air when pointed down a tube. A careless Kerbal daemon started this when he lit a match while the gas was in the air. 431: It is found that the invisible gas turns into liquid when it becomes incredibly cold. The liquid is, in fact, highly flammable, much to the detriment of the 10 kerbals standing closest to it. 432: The first community space programs are formed and the liquid engine is discovered when a kerbal poured oil in to a smoking pipe. 433: The fuel tank is invented said smoking pipe was placed under a leaky oil barrel. 440: After some kind of Kerbal "middle ages" science comes again.Kerbals have been thinking of hmm... surviving? (Jeb was confused hearing this.). They invent a parachute. 445: A weird rock is found (blutonium) that makes kerbals very sick, a ritual mixing of this substance with rocket fuel and drinking it is created to appease the gods, it is known as 'Jeb's coffee' 445.0000001: First death from drinking a poison. 446: Jeb's coffee is banned by the Kerbal States. Meanwhile, Jeb hops on a leaky oil barrel with a smoke pipe on the bottom and flies 1,000........nanometers into the air. And it keeps going for another 350 or so posts... Comment if you want! Yeah I was thinking about this earlier. Take an orange tank for an example guys. If you put a docking port on the end of it and dock with it, The tank will still tip towards the SoM of the orange tank. I'm guessing you can target asteroids like docking ports and lining up the node with the target you can find the SoM. I doubt the grapple will be flexible as it would be much, MUCH less useful for pushing if the thing your using to push it is flexible. Like pushing a wagon backwards by its handle. Again though, I could be wrong

Yes I also agree that KSP needs the framework in place first before the details, but I think IVA's are important enough to be put sooner on the agenda rather than later if you know? Yes the framework needs to be done and the core essentials I think are really there already(except for money and assignments). After squad gets the ARM and .24 updates out, I think the next thing they should tackle is the IVA. I personally don't like the smooth and bolted supports in that version . I want a stock IVA ! I like them how they are though... You 100% sure on that? For some it is. And there's a space plane hanger for a reason . PS sorry for writing 3 separate messages -

Yep! I know their working on it in progress I'm just thinking a lot of people would like the IVA sooner than later -
- Thanks KasperVld for moving this thread. I know squad is busy with the ARM update and all the other big projects that are happening currently, but I still notice how the IVA for the MK2 and MK3 cockpits are incomplete. The pod looks great! But it has no IVA. What I hope is for squad to look back at the unfinished IVA for the default pods before looking at the next big problems after .24 OR throw the IVA as an extra special treat on top of the ARM or .24 updates. Again not trying to be rude! Can you just add IVA please? PS I know there are mods that have IVA for these pods. I just want stock versions. Discuss this down below if you like. Later.

H.C.J.C. Hard Core-ish Jool Collaboration project Joolian Space Station/Base/Data collection collaboration. - Want to join? I propose starting a Joolian moon colonization conglomerate which was partially theorized from this post. Purpose: To collect data/explore every monolith, feature, and characteristic of every Joolian moon and at the same time, colonize them (I.E. create bases and stations). Builders: 1. Avera9eJoe 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Mods: - Hyperedit - We will be using Hyperedit to warp ships to a 500,000,000m (I'm writing in Meters because Hyperedit likes them) orbit above Jool so we don't have to fly every craft to Jool in order to save time in launches and take away from the real substance in this project (This is why this is hard core-ish). - Kethane - To add something else entertaining to this project . Changes to persistence: - You cannot quick save or load. - This is why it is hardcore . - All parts are unlocked but no data collected. - I've unlocked all parts so we can still build with them BUT there is no data on anything collected. Think of this save as sandbox but you can still collect data . Project lead rules: The way this collaborative build works everyone builds BUT all in the same save file. The persistence will be kept updated by everyone in a google doc along with current projects as well as an archive of data collected. Each person in rotation will get 3 days in order of sign up to build and launch/Hyperedit whatever mission they chose. Make it or miss it. What you want to build is up to you as long as it is in Jool's SOI. Please Message me if you want to join. 10 people max so whoever signs up first will get pick. Thanks for reading! Enory Kerman. My first Kerbal to land on the Mun. Also the first to get stranded there. Also first (with his lifetime friend Gerbles) to start my colony on Laythe back in .21. He is now currently smiling away as he tests my newest creations at KSC .
