  1. Genius. I am so trying this when I can. Can you make a second challenge with one on Minmus and one on the mun?
  2. Okay. Captain Sierras "inbox" is full so I can only get information to him through the Google Doc I will probably be busy this week but I will be able to launch my station into LKO and update that save by today. I think I will begin rotations next weekend? Unless you guys want sooner. Note: Can't launch today sorry
  3. I don't have problems docking either. Apollo style landers are actually quite easy in my opinion. Here's a pic of my Laythe Apollo style lander: Although I'm testing my limits now that I'm building a plane around an asteroid.
  4. Thanks Vanamonde. I think your probably the best forum micro-manager as I always see you as the one controlling this type of thing. I agree this is more of a game than a showcase or discussion. On another note, it seems as though no one here is paying attention. Is everyone still interested?
  5. Yes thanks. BTW I just solved a problem with the NFP pack if anyone has interest. Here's the post. The Xenon engines and some Xenon fuel tanks don't show in career and I solved it.
  6. THIS IS A KNOWN BUG Just like the title says, the 3 Xenon gas engines (hipepmini, hipeplarge, and nextsmall) aren't included in the tech tree and thus aren't available in career Here's the part list in NFP showing the engines are clearly in the download (this was taken directly after downloading) Although the engines don't show in the career mode I unlocked all science in (I'm doing a collab and wanted all parts unlocked). The reason the parts aren't showing is because the config requires a node that isn't included in the tech tree. The parts require the "largeProbes" tech node although there isn't one. (It says it at the bottom of the picture) ALTHOUGH I found a work around: Add this to the ionPropulsion tech node... and change the part config to require ionPropulsion instead of largeProbes I already fixed the problem, but this was the stock download that doesn't show meaning there is a big problem with the mod. Later.
  7. I am in a collaborative project using NFP and Kethane and I want to sort parts out better in the VAB/SPH. I would usually just rename the part to sort them although this creates a whole separate from download part which is fine for me, but won't work for anyone else in the project. In the part config file, if I rename the "title", does that just rename the part in the VAB/SPH thus reorganizing it, or does it count as a completely separate part? Example: Please help!
  8. I've officially added NFP (if the word official really means anything). The save file will be out in a few but in the mean time what I'm currently making.
  9. Sorry about image spamming but everyone feel free to post as many images here. I may start a new thread of images if it gets too crazy. Jool station prototype - only 144 parts. Looks pretty cool in my opinion
  10. Just unlocked all tech. I will be resetting to 0 so we can track total science made: After all, this project is meant to completely fill the logs of Jools SOI. Also NFP is planned on being added unless someone says it'll crash. In which case get Active Texture Management. xD ALSO ALSO: Does anyone else notice that the Ion engines from NFP have vanished?
  11. I haven't used it before and no we shouldn't be hurting for fuel. I'd like to add it purely for the solar panels xD I think they're cool. They'd add a more interesting add to stations I think. I completely agree with your opposing points though. IMPORTANT NOTE: If someone designs a flag that we all like, we can all download and use it as default. In the mean time I'll be using retro.
  12. What does everyone say about adding Near Future Propulsion? The pole has one yes and one no.
  13. Yes yes yes and yes! On the vote no for figuring things out, In Career you could add Delta V as an unlock or make it only available after running missions the specific engine a few times. - Like you actually gain information on the engines if you test with them!
  14. Boss... lol. I'll be the one in charge of keeping up the main page and maybe a small picture archive but other than that I hope you guys can keep saves rolling if for some odd reason I cannot be there for a couple of days. - About adding near future propulsion or interstellar, my 32 bit with 27 GB left won't handle more then 3 mods. Interstellar no way by itself. NFP I haven't tried - Only solar panels and structural parts maybe (the parts without the config file). - I don't want to put a strain on other people as well. Insterstellar - No sry no room Near Future Propulsion - maybe non-plugin components
  15. Yes there is. Your in And everyone please write something next to your name so I know you've seen the doc.
  16. Hmmm. Only four people and the post has slid off page 1. I'm not sure its a good idea to start with only 4 people. Well, it isn't a good idea. Start recruiting from your friends to join if you really want to have a good time. GOOGLE DOC IS ADDED TO TOP OF POST! - And I fixed editing settings . Or is it worth me moving this to challenges and hoping that it continues?
  17. I've begun work on part 3 and have new good music and some pretty great dialogue actually . I sure hope you all enjoy when part 3 comes out.
  18. I hope your stay is worthwhile!
  19. Hey Baberbot! I'll put your name up. Its ok if you're busy as long as you can launch something
  20. Project lead rules: The way this collaborative build works everyone builds BUT all in the same save file. The persistence will be kept updated by everyone in a google doc along with current projects as well as an archive of data collected. Each person in rotation will get 3 days in order of sign up to build and launch whatever mission they chosen to a LKO orbit of 250km. Everything will be launched to Jool in a staggered mission after each member rotation. Make it or miss it. What you want to build is up to you as long as it is in Jool's SOI. All ships can have a max part count of 300 when fully deployed/set (shouldn't get too close to this). I hope to get a few people who want to do this! Really though, the sooner you sign up the sooner you get to launch.
  21. K.J.P. Kollaboration of Joolian Science Pardon the uncapitalized S* Joolian Space Station/Base/Data collection collaboration. - Want to join? This conglomerate is partially theorized from this post by Captain Sierra. Purpose: To collect data/explore every monolith, feature, and characteristic of every Joolian moon and at the same time, colonize them (I.E. make bases and stations). Google doc Builders: 1. Avera9eJoe 2. Baberbot 3. Cantab 4. Captain Sierra 5. JebKerboom 6. Monopropellant 7. Super 8. Mods: - Kethane - To add something else entertaining to this project . - Near Future Propulsion - to add extra parts and solar arrays (group voted to add it). Changes to persistence: - You cannot quick save or load. - This is why it is hardcore. - All parts are unlocked but no data collected. - I've unlocked all parts so we can still build with them BUT there is no data on anything collected. Think of this save as sandbox but you can still collect data . - When .35 comes out I will add science reports back into save! If this project is still around when .35 comes around I will add all science reports and stations, and do my best to add the bases (probably loading them in orbit and landing them with kethane). 10 people max so whoever signs up first will get pick. Thanks for reading! Later.
  22. Sorry guys for not following up on this. My end being stupid for the last month and a half. I am going to repost this with .34.5 and continue it as .35 comes out too as I know how to transfer reports now . Link here:
