Here's a pic of my current VTOL/lander thing. Idk if you can use parachutes or not, their mainly there for backup as it takes longer to land with em'

I'm in! I'll be building a better VTOL though so give me a bit - Nice challenge! Always good to use bigger text for titles as a tip

EJ_SA's most recent stream pics: Hadfield station - 2600 parts docked
HafCoJoe replied to HafCoJoe's topic in KSP1 Discussion
If you watch the video he was saying "My poor computer!" and other things like it. He and yarg where kinda worried at the 2600 part count so that's considerably over his usual count -

He was chugging pretty bad. I think Yarg said it was like four minutes real time for something like 30 seconds in game idk what it was but it was around there. He was able to dock the 2nd shuttle without too much difficulty. -
Squad as of recently has taken give or take 2 months to release an update. This update has a ton of content such as mission control/contracts and asteroids and possible new pieces (or maybe they're in the NASA update which is another reason its taking a while). They've been pretty swamped except for Eduardo just kidding (nice entry in last weeks dev notes xD).

Newest Squadcast: Highlights, lots of new info about .24
HafCoJoe replied to Shuttle's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Indeed I did sorry: 1. Locate one close to Kerbin and wait for it to enter its SOI 2. Burn towards it and match velocities as you both move back towards Kerbin 3. reel yourself up to the asteroid 4. use engines to change into a stable orbit 5. science! 6. blahblah land the asteroid at KSC... 7. ???? 8. profit -
Robot arm use for sample gathering
HafCoJoe replied to skyace65's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Awesome ideas and a robot arm would be super cool! Although I think they're adding a grappling hook to the ARM update and not a robot arm. Also the plan is to use a Kerbal on the mission and thus remove the need for an actual robot arm. BUT YES IT WOULD BE SO COOL. -

Or randomly placed around the system I think. From what I see this is how I will capture an steroid: 1. -
What is a Kraken drive?

Can you guys give a few example pics of Kraken drives? I want to see what it is that you mean with the landing gear or various models. -
I will look into that!

Kerbal Kommunity Meetup at GDC - Wednesday March 19
HafCoJoe replied to Rowsdower's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Oh and you guys should also visit Seattle! Go there for a gaming conference at the Science Center maybe? I've got quite a group from here and near here that'd love it if you for some odd reason end up here! -
I have a 32 bit GOOD computer and KSP was crashing like crazy mainly because my CP is full to the brim on space. I deleted all files in my recycle bin, added 30 gigs. Fixed :I Edit: (Ha! Get it? Full on SPACE)

I'm guessing that you are bouncing off and then turn the jetpack back on again. This should solve spinning. To fix bouncing off: When exiting the cockpit, leave the ship vertically up and down. This way when you get back in, the hatch should be angled the same way as you. Hope this helps! Later.
