  1. Yeah, I forgot someone asked about that. You know the little circle that appears ahead of you in your orbit? That's your predictor. When the game detects that your predictor and the leader's predictor will cross, it tells you "TARGET LOCKED" to let you know on that course you will hit the leader. Confused as to why it says target locked? Well, some people don't play to get points, some play just to kill the leaders.
  2. Guys, all kerbals do that. They've always done that. I have screenshots somewhere of a kerbal reentering really fast and turning into a green noodle monster kraken thing. (seriously this kerbal was probably at least 7-8 meters wide from stretching)
  3. A pick-up is a very large minikit. It was the last explosive vegetable to be a refrigerator. Its refrigerator is sadly carrot-shaped and, again with its smell, it took a long stick to recover since half the time it was not where Humans expected to find a kraken. Due to its nature of refridgerating the potato parts of forums. This tragic tragedy was tragically labeled as not to be trusted by the tragic blenders.
  4. Hello. I'm running a bone stock 1.0 game, and while flying my planes, i tend to underestimate the "pull up!" power of my plane while doing tricks around KSC, and crash into the ground many a time. Nothing new, right? Well, 3 times now, when I crash the plane, the game "crashes" but doesn't actually crash. It freezes, with the explosion sound on a small loop. Very loud, very annoying, and I have to force KSP to close, which means no crash log. When I get home I will try and replicate it again, and post the Output log, but as for now I just have the story. This also slows down my computer for a while, whilst it tries to figure out what's hogging all its memory.
  5. Well, transfers haven't really changed.... The only things that need updating are ascents from kerbin, Duna, and Eve. (as far as I've heard eve is impossible now)
  6. Oh, you only copied part of the link. Do it this way [noparse][thread=117279]Heat shields can be patched in 1.0 due to pods flipping during reentry.[/thread][/noparse] [thread=117279]Heat shields can be patched in 1.0 due to pods flipping during reentry.[/thread]
  7. Same here, either limited clicks, or once you get on a collision course you can't correct?
  8. Not sure what happened there, I paused the download and restarted my internet modem and then it worked alright. But seriously, 13 BYTES a second is just painful to think about.
  9. I don't even wanna here it.... I mean seriously, look at the download time estimate.
  10. Hey, um, when you say vanilla, does that mean we can't change the heatshields to add their mass correctly so that the pods are stable on the way down? Meaning, without changing anything, heat shields won't add their weight to the bottom of the pod, meaning the pod flips around backwords and blows up. Making duel reentry impossible without flipping back and forth and correcting each one every milisecond. I suggest you add this link http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/117279-How-to-fix-those-heatshields%21-%28get-rid-of-command-pod-flipping-into-the-heat%21%29 to the rules, it explains how to fix the heatshield so your pods will reenter stable.
  11. Yeah, that was the other thing I was gonna say, but I got distracted when I mentioned minecraft....
  12. What regex means is you have to upgrade the VAB a few times. Also the word you're looking for is "action groups"
  13. The number isn't to be taken literally. It's just a value. They assigned 0 to a part being significant because it is the first integer and in computer coding I'm pretty sure it makes thing easier to start at 0. Like in minecraft, gamemode 0 is survival, gamemode 1 is creative. Took me forever to figure out how to get back to survival.
  14. Yeah, the heat shields confused me too. I had one ablating in space for no reason. :/
  15. I listen to the best soundtrack in the world: rocket engines burning.
  16. That is right. With PhysicsSignificance = 1 a part adds its mass to either the CoM or the parent part. With PhysicsSignificance = 0 it adds its mass to its location, therefor shifting the CoM.
  17. Yeah, I paid $23 good ol' dollars for KSP. But there are some out there who paid free.99 for it. (it used to be free)
  18. That is awesome. I thought it was awesome that when you open steam, the whole background is "KSP is fully released!"
  19. I've been hearing 3,300 m/s thrown around for LKO, Not sure how much it varies right now though.
