totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
ScriptKitt3h replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Been working on a few things as of late... First off, a new dropship-style landing craft, I call it the AD.S-01 Wolfhound. The dropship is capable of hauling 2.5 meter cargo pods underneath the fuselage, and is very powerful in terms of TWR, though it's not very fuel-efficient. As well, I've got these in the works: VTOL Carrier (Boat): Star Wars A-Wing fighter replica: -
Sorry for my seemingly abrupt disappearance- things got very busy IRL and I only recently got the time to work on anything KSP-related. That all being said, I'm shooting for the new thread somewhere between Christmas Eve and next Monday, as I need to go over the new formatting setup and make sure HatBat can check it over before I put it up on here.
-
Well, I just got my account working with the new forums (login and all that jazz), so I'll have the new thread up ASAP.

Nope.avi, it will be me!

totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
ScriptKitt3h replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Did a bit of flight-testing on my twin-"rotor" VTOL tonight, managed to fly from the runway, pickup a passenger from the deck of a naval vessel, and return to KSC safely. [imgur]OTw7P[/imgur] I'm hoping to eventually make a slightly larger, but lower-part-count boat to allow me to test landings on the water more reliably, but that's a challenge all by itself. -
USS Enterprise-K & Shuttlecraft
ScriptKitt3h replied to Bill Zarr's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Wow! A nice, good-looking, and functional replica! Great craft, good sir. :) -
Working on a new air superiority fighter (no BDArmory on this one, though I might test it with that someday)... So far I've designed a pair of kinetic-kill dumbfire missiles and one cruise missile (the last pic) for it, all of which work quite well, since the two simple ones burn off their hardpoints but leave the airframe itself unscathed.

Aircraft building fever has set in... UCAV of some sort, has a missile that flies like a fat duck. Twin-engine VTOL, complete with a custom crew area with room for 6. and finally, a super-maneuverable fighter that can carry payloads, do stunts, and more. -
ok script thanks for the update ill save this post for the new update and if you are waiting for a new thread id recommend to lock this one possibly until the new forums is online...
That's not entirely necessary quite yet, as if this thread does get locked, it'll likely be AFTER the forums update on the 27th. I can understand what you're saying though. Nothing keeps you from showing off your craft you wish to submit, just don't submit it fully (with the file(s)) until after the new thread and guidelines are up and running.
Production is well under way, it shouldn't be long now. Here's just a small dose of the action of the next episode, I'm thinking of keeping it as something of a sequel to the last 'Hype' video I did. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEnyDSoB2yY I liked this in particular because it has a bit of a 'Mad Max: Fury Road' vibe going on with it. I'm aiming to get that look in the rest of the episode.
Aww yeah! Glad to see things are shaping up to be awesome! The Sabertooth comes equipped with the Direwolf modular weapon system allowing it to switch out weapons systems depending on the situation. From laser to cruise missiles and everything in between you should find them useful in engaging multiple threats. Equipped with 1 30mm chain-gun for A2A and destruction of light ground vehicles however this nothing compared to the 2 howitzers it uses to engage heavy vehicles from any range. No matter if you are 4 km or 500m this tank will kill you if you let it. It will be overseen by HatBat as well as me, as I've been placed in charge of managing submissions to help him reduce his workload and not have to worry about making videos and handling submissions at the same time. That being said, I would also wait for HatBat to announce if he needs a certain type of craft for the series before posting tons and tons of craft to the thread (this one or the new one after the update). While it's awesome that there's tons of craft being submitted, in the end it can be quite overwhelming and only a handful of craft will wind up being used for each role that needs filling. However, don't let that dissuade you from building craft for the series; just keep in mind that the forthcoming update and new thread/guidelines for submissions will be a bit more strict (to comply with KSP forum rules and to simplify the overall workflow) and will be much more taliored towards meeting the needs of the series in terms of usable craft. This goes for all submitters, so keep on building, but please follow the guidelines, as it'd going to make things so much more smoothly.

Cupcake's Dropship Dealership...
ScriptKitt3h replied to Cupcake...'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Looking good man! :D Don't know if you need a horizontal set of engines though. Cupcake...
I know, I tend to prefer having them for orbital operations, mainly to satisfy my longing for a way to do tilt-engine craft in stock KSP. -

Finally started working with dropships again... It's got a very nice TWR on both the VTOL and horizontal-flight engines, but the fuel efficiency isn't the greatest. However, the high TWR lets me add droptanks... I'll have to do some experiments. -

Time to experiment with the Vector engines a bit... -
Hi there! I"m ScriptKitt3h, and this is my personal craft showcase. Here you can find all of my currently available craft, their download links (orchestrated through Dropbox) and pictures of them in action. Just as well, this serves as a great place for constructive criticism and feedback on my craft, to help me improve my builds into the future. ///CRAFT CATALOG:/// (This will be updated over time, and any craft missing from their DL folders or missing DL folders altogether should be considered under maintenance.) All craft are stock unless specified otherwise. Also, please report any performance issues you might have with a craft. (The picture above is my personal flag, use it as you wish.) MU STAR NAVY: This series of warships, fighters, and logistical craft are one of my specialties. From my old "S-X" line of vessels to my latest, cutting-edge "N-X"-series warships, I'll always be working to stay on top of KSP stock arms and armor technologies. Most, if not all, these ships will have my old "MU" prefix to indicate their militarized nature. DL Folder: COMING SOONTM (Also, some craft will be only available upon request.) SURFACE HARDWARE: All of my currently available surface craft, ranging from rovers and cars to boats and submarines. DL Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/orkn63shk4fy71j/AADuUQwYW30DSArtNnRIE7Nga?dl=0 REPLICA CRAFT: All my craft that are replicas of real-world and/or fictional aircraft, spacecraft, or vehicles of any sort. These may be more prone to breakage inbetween updates, but rest assured I always get around to fixing or replacing them. DL Folder: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/b5741o9rexgdbm2/AACBNyWhflQWPy-RuvfgVJcRa?dl=0 I should have the currently non-downloadable craft sorted and linked soontm, so please be patient. All craft that are going to be linked from here on out are only going to be ones that are stock (with the occasional BDArmory-equipped craft) and compatible with the latest full (non-pre-release) version of KSP, for simplicity's sake.

If we do need to to start a new NBC thread at some point post-migration, I'll be up for it.

The F-16C's coming along nicely once I fixed the tail a bit... I've also attempted to rework my older F-35A replica, but it's proving somewhat difficult to coax it to break Mach 1 on the non-afterburner mode of the jet engine. Working on my first large-scale replica for 1.0.5, the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon. It handles quite well, save for the fact that once the airspeed drops below 80-100 m/s it starts refusing to pull up/flare, so landings have not occurred thus far. -
Mini Soyuz Replica! [AH NEED SOME HALP]
ScriptKitt3h replied to Sharkman Briton's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
As said above, engine clipping will help. I'd say maybe some of the Ant engines if the larger 24-77 radials are too much mass. -

More WIPs thanks to 1.0.5: 1455 part count oil rig (really an eldritch idol that summons the Kraken!) Luxury speedboat for the more... sophisticated Kerbals and Kerbettes out there.
