  1. Here is my last project i've been working on since I got these parts I'm trying to make the ISS with as much small greeble and detail as I can using part welding to minimize performance impact. This station sits at 87 parts right now (including the soyuz and progress docked to it). Without part welding I believe this station would sit at ~600 parts XD I LOVE this mod and can't wait for more module to expand the US section!
  2. I love that idea but obviously i'm only one opinion! Regardless I can't wait for more parts in this pack as my ISS replica is quickly growing
  3. I love these parts so much! I'm working on a detailed ISS replica by using part-welding to reduce my part count and allow for high detail greebles everywhere on the station (i put about 2 hours of contruction into my zarya module alone!). I'm up to the phase of STS-100 right now and just added the destiny laboratory. However I did notice that the module you had to replicate that lab felt a little... short. If you count panels on the exterior yours was 6 while the real lab is 7 long. So I was wondering if in the future either another module could be created of the appropriate length to replicate that lab or if the original could be edited Long story short, great parts and amazing work! I can't wait for future updates and progress on this pack and everything to come with it! Edit: after playing around with the cfg files and scales I found that a custom part I made from the Gym Hab with a scale in the Y axis of 1.5 fit perfectly as a role for the Destiny Lab, the only thing being now the windows are ovals lol
  4. Did we ever figure out what was stopping the Robotic Arm from working in flight? I had the problem too so in the meantime I made my own arm from other parts but I really wanna use the included one.
  5. Oh okay no problem, I didn't know there was a problem with it as I assumed the new KSP aero-update had basically become FAR without all of the information and simulation data the mod provides.
  6. Can someone post a tutorial on how to land the shuttle? I have FAR installed on my build, and I tried a calm angle de-orbit from 100km but as I entered the atmosphere it was as if there was no drag AT ALL. I came screaming in unaffected at 2km/s at an altitude of 18km as i passed over the KSC and right about at maybe 8km or so everything starts to flip out and i lose control and smash into the ocean going ~2km/s Edit: to clarify on no-drag, I would be at 20km altitude and still ACCELERATING from gravity rather than slowing down from the atmosphere, my g-meter read 0 and I was engulfed in reentry flames
  7. None of it, you don't need RealismOverhaul for the mod to work, only RealPlume which is available here
  8. Well with AB Launchers most of the parts you would need to make an Angara system are already there, granted you have to add tweakscale compatibility for the 1.875m size of the boosters.

KSP Version: v0.90 Linux Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit What Happens: KSP and computer freeze upon rotating camera in VAB Mods / Add-Ons: All Stock So i just dual installed Ubuntu with my windows 8.1, installed all drivers, installed all programs, then installed KSP via steam. However, everytime I try to build in the VAB my computer freezes. I have mouse control and music plays but everything else is frozen and locked up.   14. When you do your release, is it realistic to have a secondary kind of "lite" pack that only contains the stuff for the earth system for those low on memory?

  16. Sounds like you have the connection from your LKO satellites put on "active vessel" so when you stop controlling the station, nothing connects to it. I'd go to the satellites around kerbin and target a couple of them at your station and visa versa with the station and the satellites to establish constant connection
  17. I like the lights, but I feel a medium compromise is probably best as that seems a little TOO multi-colour because in a lot of pics/vids (which i'm sure you know) it's almost all just kinda orange/yellow like this: So a compromise between what you had before and that there would be perfect
  18. Looks great the RCS and docking system has always been a pain to avoid extra parts and my previous solutions had been to build these crazy arms that came up from below with RCS attached, but this..... MUCH easier idk why I didn't think of this first!

  20. I don't think I've had any Also: What kind of ascent profile do you use? I've been reading and i've learned to go straight until you hit ~100 m/s and then pitch over 5 or so degrees and then to just follow the surface velocity vector However, I always seem to be going too fast too shallow (hitting 1000 m/s at ~20 km). I design all my rockets to have a TWR of about 1.3-4 MAYBE 1.5 if I can't find a more optimized engine. Yet, I always seem to start heating up too much during ascent Also, does anybody here use mechjeb to launch? If so, what does your ascent profile look like? I've been trying for hours and not making a lot of progress, and yes, I read the page on the RSS wiki about it that is here: https://github.com/NathanKell/RealSolarSystem/wiki/MechJeb-Ascents
