  1. Yeah... I can relate to that. If I could, I would be playing KSP or doing whatever in a few of my classes, namely Spanish and Honors Physics, the first because we hardly do anything and the second because... well, it's physics, and besides heat transfer and stuff like that I've already been introduced to or looked up out of self interest.
  2. Whoo! That's nice! I'd vote for that if I could... Is there a voting place or is it mods and devs or whatever?
  3. I didn't realize that it was Zekes until I realized that it was Zekes... Looks good. Better than what I could do, probably.
  4. Granted. It turns out, Portal 3 and Half Life 3 are the same game. But you can no longer use the Portalgun nor the Gravity Gun. They are DLCs. I wish for a map.
  5. No, you don't. You can test those "landed" contracts just by launching, loading onto the launchpad/runway and staging/running test. Easy as pie. Generally, KSP players build different rockets and/or planes for each new mission. You can probably find one that will fulfill your parameters for whatever contract, but the easiest way to get a ship (once you know the basics) is to make it yourself. By the way, there is no "Guide to All Contracts in KSP" if that's what you're looking for. Say hello to procedural generation... Meanwhile, hello! And welcome to the Furom Forum! [i really did just type it like that, by the way... ]
  6. Tell that to the Steerwing D45. I really like the nosecone bay idea, not so sure about the ramp, though. Unless you made a platform out of structural bits... in any case, that would require much more advanced collision and contact detection, like friction (there's a whole other thread for that). And I've said before that bigger landing gear = moar happy. Why are there 3 kinds of rocket landing legs and only 1 type of spaceplane gear?
  7. 10/10 Drekmaster (Forget I even thought about saying that... )
  8. Oooohhhhh. I see them now. That might hurt to get hit by... what is that, 360 kilonewtons of thrust? (I think that the radial engines there have 120 each.)

Nope. What is the Mandlebrot set?
  10. In where? I can't see them... Do you mean the Vernors?
  11. SOLUTION: More than one rider After Worrir4 nearly managed to steal my experimental HypeThruster, I've hunkered down in my underground shelter, trying to keep it under wraps from the public, running more tests and such to see if it is possible to increase its efficiency. At the rate that I've been developing it, a prototype Quad - HypeThruster Block should be available for all your HypeReactionSystem needs by 0.90 prerelease... it should provide a good amount of thrust.
  12. Eyup. Bigger landing gear is on the top of my list, personally. Right now they always seem too short, so when I nose up with my big SSTO's it is really hard to avoid tail or engine strikes. I do love the way that the cargo bays work, though, with the ghost nodes. Could we have that in the big hollow Kerbodyne adapters? It would be good for engines and whatnot, plus storing miscellaneous parts or probes. (We would need to get rid of the structural bits on the ends of the parts, make it just a truncated cone with the caps missing.) I generally use an empty, (or full, depending on the case), MK2 to MK1 adapter and a nose cone/docking port/claw as an MK2 nose cone. (Heyo, 1000 posts! )
  13. ^^This^^ I used to play with Chatterer installed. I had all the settings turned up so that it would play SSTV and voices much more frequently than average, just for fun. @SQUAD: Please? Just a few beeps or whatever? .-.
  14. It's totally not at all creepy that that post has exactly the same wording as yours...
  15. Ooh, I found the one that Danny2462 uses ALL THE TIME! "Call to Adventure" by that author.

No to all so far. (And hey I've got 2 rep blobs! )
  17. What causes these weird artifacts to pop up when stuff like this happens? Kerbin/other planets getting destroyed, the video in the OP's post... how can the code create these circumstances? Shouldn't it be impossible?
  18. OOOH, that's pretty. Any mods installed that might be doing this?
  19. You already can open and close them in the editor screen. Where have you been?
  20. I feel you. I play on mute now. Heard it once, heard it all. (I would also like this being able to go to the different buildings. Especially, if nothing else, to be able to go to the Tracking Station from spacecraft instead of going to the Space Center and then the Tracking Station.)
  21. I actually hadn't thought about that part before. It would be a bloodbath. As a programmer, learning a new language is not so hard once you've got the basics of how computers work down. But it would still be a long and time consuming process, perhaps it would be best if we waited until a later date.
  22. *cringes* This is going to be a lot harder than Frozen_Heart's battle... - - - Updated - - - I'll fight. Let me know when you're ready.

Rainbow fields on a mechanical plane, Once it is used it is never the same. Bending most minds in twists and in spins, Passing the hours, floating one along on a feeble whim. Behold, however, the secret within, There is a way, a hidden path, with which one may win. Extract the secrets, ones of patterns, some with form, And soon will the clock be your fascinating norm. And we go down the hole again.
  24. Spartwo, if you're going to go ahead with this, let me know. Still looking for someone to take me up on this fight, if Spartwo doesn't confirm.
