An ice cube apparates into your brain. I wish for space cannons.

Your avatar beat me to the facepalm... Then we would be either very lucky, or there would be a lot of dead bodies floating around. What if we could use the Force?

C: >run Nope.avi. C: >run NEXTGUESS.bat Abraham Lincoln Gah, no! I'll do it myself. Red Iron Crown.

Is KSP the greatest video game ever made?
Starwhip replied to sedativechunk's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Best video game ever: Pong Nah, I think KSP is pretty good. It's my favorite game by far. Dunno how popular it is, but my sister has told me of 3 or 4 people in her school that play, and I know a lot of people who do in my school. -
You could just strip the thing of the top structural nosecone and the sepatrons that would make it spin. What is left is even better than the missiles on my ships during that battle! (I just found out that they have only 6 sepatron motors ) You could try 1 structural piece on the nose, maybe that would suffice for an armor-piercing round. - - - Updated - - - Which one? The struts or the intakes? (Or both?)
-
You can build in the VAB and then save as a subassembly that is accessible in both SPH and VAB. Play around with this missile design for a while. The first part is the Cubic Octagonal Strut. But don't unleash the power of the Kraken... I don't even know how I got this to happen. It's 47x symmetry
-
Are they expensive? I didn't notice. Hmm. Are you sure? (There's no heavy armor there, but I think he must've hit a strutty area in the construction.) My I-Beam missiles deal more damage than that thing, and they are much lighter, but then again they probably go a hell of a lot faster. (And also, that missile was about five or six Oscar-B's long before it hit me)
-
Twinkies = Zombie Land?!? What kind of twisted world do you live in?!? Candy Land.
-
Err... That apparently hit at 400+ m/s. Ineffective much? (Methinks 'twas a fluke.)
-
I just think it looks better. And it's easier to work with, because of the bigger pieces. Also, I think it's lighter.
-
EXACTLY why I want to redo it. Right now it's in 3 sections: You can't destroy the "whole" armor with just 1 shot. The refit of the ship will have independent armor sections. And, Frozen_Heart? Operation Aurerran Storm: Battle Completion AUS-0 Pride of Kalzore to engage CJS Vanguard Since it's the end of the battle, I just let the Vanguard have it. All of it. .... well, most of it (It was hard to aim the SRBs... . I did get one, though.) Battle Results: Operation Aurerran Storm was a complete success! Friendly ships remaining: 3/3 Enemy ships remaining: 0/3 Victory to the Aurerran Fleet! So much for your retrograde orbit. Its altitude made it REALLY easy to match up with. Oberth effect, commander. Look it up. Also more armor
-
Stripping the Pride of Kalzore Her armor is running top and bottom on long rails, so that none of the armor connects to the fuel tanks or anything else that might spontaneously disassemble. It is also heavily strutted to the center girder system, as well as to the opposite side and between the top and bottom segments. I've got KSP up and running, gonna chase that little runner down.
-
WHAT? How did that do nothing? Are you sure? Hmm. (I think the Pride of Kalzore raised it's lag-shields) I'll show you the inside of the thing. And then I'll catch your pesky little retrograder.
-
Can't touch this, Zekes. (You probably can... ) EDIT: I meant in the explosion factor... It looks weird because I was ninja'd so many times.
-
Ugh... hmmgh... me want those landing legs. So much nostalgia...
-
Still "form"... Anyways, welcome to the forum! (That title is never going to get out of my head )
-
I use HyperEdit to bring Laythe back to Kerbin, fusing them together. The explosion knocks you into deep space. I plant a virtual flag on the hill. My virtually claimed hill.
-
Totally not doing a victory dance right now But then again, neither do mine... (EDIT: I'm going to fix that next time...) EDIT#2: I've gotten the idea into my head that if one* of my ships dies in battle here, her name cannot be used again. If you manage do destroy my capital ship, though... AUS-0 Pride of Kalzore was a one-shot thing. I'll be totally overhauling her anyways (I feel as if it needs more... something ), but... if she gets destroyed then I'll have to make a brand new one. Live and learn. (The other ships are generic. I'll just christen them with different names next time if they get destroyed. ) *or more
-
*snorts* You may want to change that thread title... "Hell Form Jordan"
-
Um... yeah. At the moment you're horribly outgunned... My capital ship still has 6 explosive-tip SRBs and 8 Mark II I-Beams.... Plus the two on the Spirion and the 6 on the Kiternyae. The Kiternyae also has 2 plated SRBs to attack you with. Unless... Technically [And my inner conscience is telling me to SHUT THE HELL UP!] you could salvage the missiles off of your capital ship. *punches self in face*
-
I think Frozen_Heart and Zekes must be collaborating to somehow destroy me after the two-ship killstreak...
-
Operation Aurerran Storm: Battle Update LYC-A1 Kiternyae to engage CJS Revenge No target: Confirmed kill. This time, only 1 salvo of the 2 rockets. Ju need tu wurk on ze armoring! (Also, timewarp made the scattered debris field. I had killed the ship beforehand, and was timewarping to get a better shot of the ship split in twain... and then 1x made it go BLAM!) I'll get the persistence up right away. (As soon as possible, anyways.)
-
Frozen_Heart: So, um, before I go and put up my next turn... Did you mean that you would engage my lightest ship and then we would be free to attack other targets? Or is this battle going to continue with the lightest-remaining-ship engages lightest-remaining-ship trend? Because I'll gladly redo my turn again. (I... um... exploded your capital ship ) EDIT: To save time... I had killed the ship beforehand, and was timewarping to get a better shot of the ship split in twain... and then 1x made it go BLAM!)
-
Well, you knocked off the remaining 2 rockets. She's still alive, as far as I can tell, but she's got no weapons left. Loading the persistent now. EDIT: Hehehe... It's still got 2 rockets. Forgot that it fired in salvos of 4... But it's not her turn right now... cue the Lykotaek.
