  1. Look at the mission timer. 1 min 41 seconds. Yeeaaaaaaaaah... And the engine broke off. I need to fix it a little bit... (I commented the CFG files to tell me the original values. That's good.)
  2. 3.5/10 Been seeing you more and more lately. Heyo!

    Booyah! Your turn.
  4. Actually, I made it go that fast. I was suddenly compelled to reach Lightspeed, so I *cough*editedsomeconfigs*cough* And that is the result of a 5 second burn when an engine has 100,000 thrust. EDIT: That is over 65 times the speed of light. Plaid, anyone?
  5. AAAAAAAAGGH!!! Just so you know, the Kraken doesn't like things going that fast.

Nope to all of the above. Who wants a hint?
  7. I got it home safe and sound. With no fuel left. Too close. Next time, perhaps a NERVA would be better.
  8. YEAH!!! I told you I gotz this! Now for landing. Whoo. I've got the big landing legs on it, plus 8 'chutes. Should be fine.
  9. Who says that the old way is not the best way? I just fiddled around with the maneuver nodes and POW! I think I have enough RCS to do it. EDIT: Revised the node, only 815 m/s EDIT2: Now only 630!
  10. I don't got this.... This is following the Protractor mod. I'm short over 300 m/s. Crud. My problem? I was stuck either 3 days before or 3 days after the transfer window, because my orbit takes 6 days to complete. I'll try what the calculator said. Again, what do I have to lose?
  11. Floor 746: You are now walking on the ceiling, which is rather disorienting.
  12. Nevermind: Year 7, day 300-ish. I used the calculator and it showed me an ejection of around 520 m/s plus a plane change of 130 m/s I've got this. My motto. You should see my save, it's full of quicksaves.
  13. I discovered that 10% thrust with an ANT engine is necessary at Gilly.
  14. Heh. I'll wing it. I've got Protractor installed, and it's fairly accurate. Right now, the question is not how much Delta-V, but how much battery my laptop has. Should I go for it?
  15. The rocket has ~800 m/s left, plus x m/s in RCS fuel, plus getting out and pushin'. And um... *sly laugh* I am known to kick just a little bit with "Infinite Fuel." I think I can get home. Remember, those measurements are from Low Eve Orbit, not Gilly orbit. At apoasis (Gilly apoapsis) I'll circularize and have a high Eve orbit. EDIT: Plus rescue missions. I do like those.
  16. Righty-ho. Now I just need to get home.
  17. Little bit of orbital tweaking (I was in a synchronous orbit... what are the odds???) and I've got it! Now the question is: can I get back?
  18. Final orbit and remaining Delta V. I'll just timewarp until I get closer, because it looks like I can just do that to get to Gilly. I'm behind and in a smaller orbit.
  19. So, it would take a total of 1750 (With generous FudgeRoomtm) to do this orbit. I'll "quicksave as" and try it.
  20. On that criteria, banned for slightly cut-off text in your sig.
  21. Granted. Mt. Everest is now in what was once your bedroom, with you underneath it. I wish for pie.
