Always do: Protect probes with detachable shell (no mods just decouplers & structural panels) Have an abort system Have at least one generator Never do: Use mods Bring too much fuel Have no struts (eventually I figure out why the thing is so wobbly) Use unnecessary parts, including structural fuselage.
10/10 Goodbye, old KSC! (Although you can't hit the tower on launch anymore, which is a plus) Technically, it's not a wireframe. It just has some bugs, but I've fixed them since then.
I think we all learn the game at a different rate and a different order. I got a ship to Duna before I ever thought of making a station or a base or even a spaceplane. Good luck with your ships. (You'll need it)
Yeah, something I've noticed is that my computer has decided that it should run the game better when it is on a higher graphics setting! WTF! Illogical!
I was docking a crew transfer module to a station and decoupled some parts from a stage, whilst moving toward the station at around 50 m/s. The decoupled stage went about 20 meters under the station, and just missed its solar arrays.
I think your problem may be the size of the thing. All those fuel tank need to be drained independently in the coding, if the game is draining them in real time, the ship would easily become unbalanced.
