  1. Oh, yes, the infamous Remote Control Ship bug. (Well, that's what I call it) I've never experienced it myself nor do I know a fix, but for a lot of my problems a switch to the KSC and then back to the craft, a quit and resume, or a complete restart have worked.
  2. Greetings, Theowulff, welcome aboard!
  3. Well, don't judge until you've seen something of his. Unless you already have.
  4. Really, light chain mail to deflect some less powerful blows is all that you can wish for. In hand to hand combat (In this case, sword-and-shield) your best defense is speed. At least, it would be in reality. If you dodge a blow, you never needed the armor in the first place. In any case, I use bows and magic in RPGs, like Skyrim, so I don't give armor a second thought. Not much point when your enemies are dead before you are even five times the length of a sword away from them.
  5. No, that's the standard main page... hmm. Can you try another browser?
  6. All bodies axial tilts are perpendicular to Kerbin's orbital plane, regardless of inclination.
  7. What does your forum main page look like? You may be in Mobile mode somehow.
  8. Is it? I'm not so sure... look at Minmus, for example. I've exited a perfect equatorial orbit and still find myself going to the poles of Kerbin. Not only that, but the orbit closes in on Kerbin's poles. If Minmus' inclination and axial tilt were the same, the orbit path would not change in this case. I've also hyperedited Kerbin into Jool's orbit. Kerbin and its moons were in their completely normal orbits and orientations, but Kerbin (with zero tilt relative to the sun) orbited in a 90 degree path, with the Mun and Minmus orbiting relative to Kerbin's equator. Yeah, it makes no sense.
  9. Oh, no! You've lost one! Lemme see... I've lost, oh, five? Maybe more in the testing. In any case, building a plane around the Banzai! will probably be your best bet. I'm my case it was easier, because the Dawn Racer can fly under its own power. All I did was put extra fuel, some engines and two wings on a radial decoupler attached to the top of the ship. Landing afterwards is the real challenge. I'm planning on separating the rover at around 1,000 meters, and gliding down as slow as I can. If that doesn't work... well.
  10. Speaking of glitches, when I staged the deployer to drop the rover, the capsule fell off. Maybe I should turn off the engines next time?
  11. The Dawn Racer has a new form... To the crash site we go! We must not be delayed!
  12. I'm pretty sure it makes the collider issues worse, though I've had a rare few occur on high detail. But the rate is much, much lower. Anyways, tired of having to drive the Dawn Racer to the last known point, a deployment mechanism was constructed.
  13. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Another thing I'm thinking: Can a Drek survive Nah, I'm just kidding, I don't think any ship could survive that. Ramming is disallowed for a reason, no?
  14. Well, this looks fun! Count me in. Saturn IB complete. I'll finish up the other rockets (we can pick any three, right?) and post a submission.
  15. Is it supposed to do that? Don't ask me, I'm just the engineer! Darn it. I hate terrain-holes.
  16. The Kraken strikes yet again. Jeb had been sinking into the ground for the duration of the mission, and on a recent flag-planting, he finally stood on solid terrain. As such, the flag was denoted with "Less Glitch Ground". All was well until, ironically, that same flag teleported three kilometers to the north, exploding on impact with the ground. Then stuff got weird. It seemed to be going more or less well for a while. Until I came up on this hill. Aye, Thar be Quicksand Here! The terrain suddenly stopped being terrain, and the Dawn Racer sunk into the ground before exploding. These here capsules are super stronk. Well, thus ends another scouting run. It's what I get for playing on "Low" terrain detail.
  17. It really isn't that grindy... though I do have the fastest Elcano vehicle currently in the running. Welcome aboard, CaptainApollo!
  18. Well, technically, some people didn't have a choice to make, though there hasn't been a draft in a while. Still, it is more for remembering and honoring the dead than anything else.
  19. I do, and I was wondering if anyone else did. If so, what version, which character so you main, and how many hours have you put into that character? Everyone says Charizard sucks in the 3ds version, but not everyone has put 14+ hours into him. Yep, you guessed it, I main Charizard (I mean, come on, who else would I be playing?). These people don't know what hit 'em.
  20. Oh, boy. You are floating really low on the water, is that normal? In my experience with sled-rovers, the next bit to go is usually some gear, a segment of, or an entire sled. Edit: I never rode so low...
  21. Not a biggie, but I've noticed that doesn't apply to my vehicle anymore.
