  1. Thanks for working on this! I find the flameout audio to be annoying though. I don't think it's the appropriate sound for it. It's too harsh and doesn't fit the other sounds in my opinion. I like the start up and running sound though.
  2. I think some of this tycoon stuff is coming much later in development. I'm not sure its for everyone but I do love games like Airline Tycoon & management type of things. It's definitely not what the development needs currently though. But I'm sure a lite version of this will come along nearer to version 1.00.
  3. I have a GTX 560 2gb (which is pretty behind now in GPUs) and I've never had this issue. Are you using integrated graphics (example: HD 4000)? @nats, I hate that line too.
  4. This would be a nice thing to add. It would give you a reason to be more attached to a Kerbal other than just their facial expressions.
  5. You can also set how many seconds before MechJeb goes to each stage. You can set up a prelaunch procedure. I've see a few people use aesthetic stuff to make it looks like it's about to launch. BTW, I was using the MechJeb 2.0.9 from the other thread and now going to try this version to see if same issue. I ran into this problem with the Spaceplane Autoland: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53848-Possible-MechJeb-2-0-9-Spaceplane-Autoland-Issue-in-0-22-Suggestion
  6. Can't seem to get the Docking autopilot to work at all even following the steps, trying different designs, etc. I can see it using the RCS thrusters but it does not try to dock at all. Just floats around.
  7. Does kOS use power when executing scripts, etc?
  8. Not sure if I posted in the right area but found an issue with MechJeb 2.0.9 : http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/53848-Possible-MechJeb-2-0-9-Spaceplane-Autoland-Issue-in-0-22-Suggestion
  9. Really enjoying this mod! I've been using it with the robotics add to make a arm with magnetic attached to bring in ships near my station since I suck at docking.
  10. Just wanted to tell you how much I love this part. It's an absolute must use for my space station and landers. I'm glad you had the vision in mind to make this. I'd love to have different sizes as well.
  11. But wouldn't you consider the mouse part of the UI? Many other full screen games have a mouse aesthetic based to the game. I mean, it's just as much a part of the design as the other interfaces. I really hope this suggestion isn't getting the connotation of mouse cursor = glitter. =/ I suppose it bugs me because I spend some time thinking about fonts, tints, color, menus, etc before a release since I work for a game company. Although, not mouse cursors since they're browser based mainly.
  12. Sorry if mentioned already but I believe the Kerbals are Herbivores based on their teeth. They seem to only have flat teeth (molars) and no pointy/sharper incisors or canines. I picture them chewing their snacks like a horse.
  13. Great job on this and nice design.
  14. Why wouldn't a new cursor be just as precise though? It would be the same size, just colored and/or shaded to fit KSP. So it doesn't seem like two separate things, as if I alt tabbed and played in Windowed mode. To me it's a natural thing for games to have, same as GUI design. I have a feeling some of you guys are envisioning this:
  15. I would love this. I often think about this in the context of the Davon Supply Mod, the Life Support mods, kOS, MechJeb, RemoteTech & Kethane mining. When I first read about the kOS mod, I envisioned setting up automated resupply missions to my space station while my main mission to another planet is going on. But of course the problem is you can only have influence or control over one entity at a time. So it would be neat for example have an automated task setup like something in kOS/Mechjeb and the click on the probe/AI to "Do Task A" and then the ship with that computer on it would undock, go to a refueler, fill up, come back and transfer it or what ever else you have in mind. What if you could also make Bill and Bob follow (walk with you) while on a planet instead of doing one by one? I think this would come much later in the development though, around 0.40 or something. Also I think Autopilot has a different context than AI or player Controlled. It's not about Squad making a MechJeb for you but instead allowing other Kerbals and Probes to do Tasks that you setup while you're controlling your main person.
  16. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to make this. I love the look & functionality!
  17. Yup, agreed. I'd like to exit the game quicker as well, although not a big issue at all.
  18. That sounds really reasonable and goal oriented which I think fits well with how Science will be functioning for the overall direction of the player.
  19. I'm terrible at art but I found this to kinda show what I mean. The cursor can have a rounded, shaded effect like almost all the menus in KSP. The Microsoft, flat one just looks way disconnected from the game.
  20. Good points Rarity. I think the PS4 will change the way games are built from the ground up; heck, there's plenty of games still not 64bit even outside of Unity.
