  2. Im encountering a problem a problem where the USI-LS gui widow is sized too small. It cuts of text and even where I assume an "accept" or "apply" button would be. Whenever I change the settings that I can see it never saves them. Any tips? Also, I tried digging into the settings file but it says that changing that only effects new games and I would like to avoid having to start over.
  3. Then I hope its alright if I post this here. If it doesn't belong then I will happily remove it but I'm currently at my wits end. Alright, I feel I've done everything I could with no results so I have to say/ask; There is no karborundum around Kerbol as far as I can tell. I have sent missions all the way into Kerbols atmos (no temp dmg) stopping at 25Mm increments starting at Eve orbit with every sensor or particle scoop there is. I have dug through other threads threads and come across and which based on my files in GameData/CommunityResourcePack/ResourceConfigs :Karborundum Should indicate that I should find some around as far as I can tell. I again searched stopping around every 10Mm starting and stopping 200Mm higher and lower than that orbit. I also loaded an older Sandbox and found Karborundum at the expected spot and I also started a new career and also found some there as well. I used the same ship on all three files. Could my seed be broken? Where would I even look to check that? Is there any way to copy over the resource files for just the Kerbol from one of the working files? I am at my wits end. I have spent way too many hours at trying to figure this out with no results. Thanks for any help.
  4. Can anyone point me in the right direction to the current thread about Karbonite/Karborundum? The only 2 threads I can find is Karbonite which hasn't been used since 2015 and K+ which isnt in use because of the merge of Karbonite and K+.

I have spent way too many hours at trying to figure this out with no results. Thanks for any help.
  6. Ahhhhhhh.... that would be it.... I looked on the Life Support wiki and couldn't find anything like that. For some reason I just thought mutinous meant they would eat more supplies (if they ran out of hab) or the hab timers would go down faster (if they ran out of supplies).
  7. I'm having a glitch occur when warping. When the kerbals are mutinous and I time warp it sometimes says "*Kerbal* has returned to duty shortly followed by the alert they have gone mutinous. Then if I keep warping or load back to that craft things just sorta.... fall off. Its random which parts fall off but it always happens after those alerts. Ive had it happen on multiple ships/stations and on the current ship I even have Bob, who will never go mutinous, "escorting" the kerbals I am leveling up. Anyone ever heard of this problem where ships/station fall apart randomly after kerbals mutiny?

  10. Ah. Like I said I haven't actually hired anyone since rescue missions came out lol. A retrain feature would be amazing but that's besides the point. You mods are the best there are! I would kiss you if I ever met you for the construction ports alone.
  11. I haven't checked in a long time since I always just farm rescues at the start but isn't each hire at least 90k? That's not all that cheap. Plus it basically negates at least half the reason for even doing rescue missions.
  12. Damn, I was afraid of that. I generally enjoy rescue missions but I dont want to waste all my time on them. Maybe I'll have to try some cofig editing.
  13. I considered using just scientists but my roster is 19 out of 12 from rescue missions and I only have 1 (Bob) Scientist. Is there anyway to either disable the new specializations since they aren't necessary? Whats the best solution to this?
  14. I'm getting back into KSP and I reinstalled all my favorite mods but Im having trouble with the new crew specialties. I have a station set up around the Mun and am trying to use the science lab to farm some juicy knowledge but it keeps saying I don't have any scientists on board. I currently have a Farmer and a Biologist in the lab since their tool tips suggested they help with science but its still not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I cant move on to bigger better things until I figure this out.
  15. After some mod purging I'm 90% sure it is caused by KerboKatz Utilities. (which sucks because their science autocollecting is amazing.) Edit: After more digging it appears to be from SmallUtilities - DailyFunds which is bundled into the KerboKatz Utilities that is listed on CKAN.
  16. Alright so I disabled USI and it didn't change anything. Turns out I am getting about 25290.34 funds each day I think. I get a message saying "You have been awarded 25290.35 funds!" If I am on the KSC screen where you can select the different buildings. If I go to the tracking station and spend a day or two there I will get a message awarding me the total funds for all those days as soon as I return to the KSC screen. I also am getting funds if I spend the time in flight (aka time warped while "flying" a probe on the mun.
  17. I'll disable all the USI stuff and check that. Might be 10 min or so. Takes awhile to load up.
  18. I'm getting funds each day at the start of the day. Usually between 25k and 75k but it varies. While I love funds that just feels way too cheaty. I'm posting my CKan list here in hopes that someone can spot the problem. Ive been over it several times but cant figure out why I would be getting funds. On another note I'm not getting any rescue missions and I'm not sure why. They have always been my bread and butter farming contracts. So if you can see why that might be that would be nice too.
  19. @Tarheel1999 You were right! Had to remove AmpYear and save edit them back to crew but it worked! Thank you so much! I owe you big time!
  20. Finally got around to playing again and updated everything. Built a station to farm science and it has plenty of Supplies (4.5k) and Habitation (a tundra ring, hitchhiker pods, ect) but my two scientists are stuck on Tourist. I even save edited them back to crew/scientist but it just reverts them as soon as I load the vessel. I tried checking the Life Support toolbar but it doesn't show anything in the window. Mods are Mechjeb, Engineer redux, editor extensions, planet shine, SVE, Interstellar, scatterer, AmpYear/Deep Freeze, KIS/KAS, Distant Objects, a few other smaller parts mods, and all the USI mods. Any idea what my problem is?
  21. Im having a conflict the USI reactors apparently and I think it is caused by Interstellar. On load in it freezes on the USI reactor 125. When I remove the entire reactor pack it freezes on the Interstellar reactors and some engines. Anyone know whats causing this? Really annoying me.
  22. Ive been trying to update my mods (80+) but there is something causing many of my ships not to load in. I then drop a copy of the save file so I can try again. Some of the parts missing are listed a; SR.Payload.01 -These go all the way up to SR.Payload.04 orbitalEngine-375 adapter-rad-125 sercivetank-25 battery-rad-125 Does anyone know what mod/mods are causing the issues? I'll update the list if people need more ideas. I can also list the mods I have if that helps.
