  1. Wait, where did the spoon come from?
  2. Same questions. <----- Also not a torrent expert.
  3. RemoteTech doesn't have many set-in-stone rules for satellites, it all depends on their use. Generally the best way to do it is to set up three geo(keo?) stationary satellites, one right over the space center, to transmit the signal to other satellites. You can either use the long-range Omni for this or set the directional dishes to target the entire planet, and it will transmit to everything within it's (arc? range? angle? I don't know.)
  4. Great idea, and try using rubbing alchohol/Q-Tips (Cotton swabs) to get the soda off.
  5. What, are you trying to beat the necro-record?
  6. Not my problem, but a friend's (they don't have a forum account.) Since updating to 0.25 via the Launcher/Patcher, all parts that have had their properties/configurations changed, there are duplicates, one the new part, the other the old. Is there any way to fix this besides manually deleting all the duplicates/downloading a new save? Not much of a problem but I thought Squad might want to know about it.
  7. What you can probably do is (first quicksave of course, and quickload if it fails.) 1. Turn the thrust limiter off (to zero) of all but the bottom two engines, turn on SAS, and you might be able to get it vertical. 2. Transfer all of the fuel into the center tank, so you have the least weight (assuming it has a TWR of greater that 1, else you can use the two adjacent as well.) 3. Start the center/adjacent engines (the ones with fuel from the last step) and eject the empty tanks. Get it onto a suborbital trajectory going east (Just like kerbin). Your apoapsis only needs to be about ~45 km to be out of the atmosphere, so get it to roughly that height. If you still have fuel, circularize with that. If not, use your EVA pack to circularize your orbit. You'll still need to send a rescue mission, but it's much easier to rendezvous in space than do a targeted landing on a planet/moon with an atmosphere.
  8. There's no way that I'm aware of, though it way be possible with some external program to profile (I think that's what its called...) the joystick. Usually that's included with the drivers.
  9. Do you have SAS on? that seems to cause it sometimes. Try timewarping to x5 and making the node. That should stop any movement, and stop the movement.
  10. A lot of people consider any use of the debug menu cheating, so...
  11. alt-f12 opens the debug log, go to contracts, click COM next to the one you want finished, and its done. or you can do some editing of the time in the persistent.sfs file, but that causes... problems...
  12. Suicide burns are more efficient since you only do one burn, which slows your total velocity, rather than a constant burn, which is "trying" to slow you down and still has to fight the force of the gravity. Edit: I'm not sure of the actual maths involved, though.
  13. Could you possibly (after the balloon pops, and in this case, detaches) further extend the height of the (payload? vehicle?) with a small-medium solid rocket motor?
  14. Im assuming some of you would know, and I couldn't find anything on this besides those relatively disreputable question-answer sites. So, whenever I try to update the drivers (~9 previous versions) this happens. Anyone know how to fix this?
  15. I think that was the same one, anyway, it works. Thanks for the reply.
  16. You can't control unkerbed probes, and there wouldn't really be any way to keep 7 kerbals alive permanently with TACLS. - - - Updated - - - Thanks mecripp, will try that later.
  17. Does anyone have a Config file I could use for RT2 with RSS so I don't just have the one signal coming from the default KSC location? Edit: I tried adding one, and it didn't have any effect in-game.
  18. So, I've been working on programming a 3d unity game (No specifics until it's actually at a "playable" state at which point I might make a thread). Do any of you know how to make a game multiplayer? (My question on the unity forum/questions thing has been awaiting approval for 5 days now, so...) I've managed to get two "games" running simultaneously to connect to each other, but nothing beyond that. Also, I'm doing it in C#.
  19. Most of the rules and terms for fencing A good majority of C# and Unity
  20. Just like very other mod, you have to copy everything from the folder into "Gamedata" in the ksp folder. Also, you might want to get the updated version.
