My cat of 7 years passed away a year and a half ago, and then my dog of 14 years passed away almost exactly a year ago. In high school my cat would always cuddle up next to me on my bed while I played video games, so I keep a picture of him next to my gaming PC. There were times growing up with my dog(A big black German Shepard/black lab mix) we would be on the couch, and he would turn around to watch a squirrel in the yard, and so I would watch the squirrel with him. He drooled a lot looking at those squirrels haha :D Cherish the memories. You will always have a space in your heart for your pets, they loved you just as much as you loved them.
Even for as short a time as you knew each other, you gained a friend. Be well, Sampa.
Pronouncing "KSP" in Italian results in the same number of syllables of "Kerbal Space Program" So I usually say "Kerbal"
I am about 50/50 calling it just plain "Kerbal" or spelling out "Kay Ess Pee"
I respectfully disagree. See?
Preach.

These are the people that say gif instead of gif....

I dont believe in "too soon". People are far too over sensitive. Make an engaging movie and people will enjoy it. Jeez its only been 3 years and they already have a "Bengazi" movie coming out. The first Pearl Harbor movie came out within two years of that attack. Time moves on, and so do people.

I've gotten 3 reps from this thread alone lol
-
lol I knew that when I read the thread :sticktongue:
-
Some sort of PSA ban would be nice.
-
So seniority over merit. That's like my current employer. I think that is a flawed system.
-
Is it possible to edit the "PSA" part out of the thread title
I think that forum users should be rewarded with an automatic rep for every week/month that they are active members of the forum. Why? not everyone makes awesome mods or crafts or fan works, but i think they should still be rewarded for their devotion to the forum.
I do neither and I still do rather well for myself. Here are some rep tips: -post about how 1.0 was rushed. -tell people the barn was an awful idea -speak your mind on divisive issues -use snark in the correct situations. Thats how I got where I am.

Banned for having a location with negative time.
Past sales don't really matter, IMO. It's ongoing and potential sales that determine whether the game is worth continued development, so we're probably good for at least until after the console versions drop. After that some other revenue stream would be needed to incentivize further development.
I must say when I posted that I was not considering $$$, rather I was sorta getting at "Woot, we sold at least a million" It would be really nice to partake in just one tiny thread commemorating some sort of sales milestone... But I still understand why they didnt want to, cartels and such there. Actually, since former producer Maxmaps that said that ( here for those curious ), think this new turkey guy will let us have a celebration thread next time they reach a sales total milestone?
-
To be honest, it is kind of messed up that game-breaking changes are still happening after version 1.0.
Thats because they rushed the 1.0 release, remember? we are really on version .95 tbh.

Those starwars laser weapon things on the tie fighters (i've never watched the movies, forgive me). They make noise in vaccum. I know they shouldnt. The movie is better because they do. the "pew pew pew" of the lasers is iconic. I propose that some lapses in realism are just fine.

All we know is they have sold over 1 million copies( thats on steam, and as of april 2015) . That was confirmed by steamspy, and Squad has since requested to be unlisted on that site.
i7 2600k @ 4.6, GTX 970, 8 gigs of RAM. Running Win10 64bit.
I have similar specs, i7-3770, GTX 970, 16gb ram, on windows 7, and I can attest to the game running nicely with that, though the initial load is a bit janky. once its loaded it runs just fine.

http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/108890-With-Fairings-becoming-stock-we-NEED-stock-hinges As far as parts, that would be my biggest. hinges and rotors. Why in a space game like this, cant we make a working analogue of the canadarm? We should be able to replicate any existing, real-world missions in-game.
-
I've commented on it before, nothing ever came of it. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/108890-With-Fairings-becoming-stock-we-NEED-stock-hinges

Thats really subjective. Losing rep because I turn down a contract to land a kerbal on Hell Eve is just dumb. Or maybe I dont like Duna so I don't accept missions there. Why should I get docked rep for running my program my way?
-
I don't land outside of kerbin/mun/minmus until I complete the tech tree.
-
Mun, Duna, Gilly(ect...) Program
r4pt0r replied to r4pt0r's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
Seeing as we now generate negative rep for turning down the stupid contracts we don't want, I again propose we should be able to make our own mission programs through some means. -
